Into The Light

Into The Light

Thomas said, “Open them slowly.” My heart hammered against my chest. I opened my eyes slowly, and the light I hadn’t seen in over a decade flooded my vision. I could see blurry silhouettes shifting in front of me. I could see a window. I could see the flowers. I could see the sunlight, trees, and birds outside the window. I could see them all. “I can see… Dr. Thomas, Julian, I can see!” This was a moment I had waited over a decade for. Dr. Thomas hurriedly said, “You mustn’t cry. Your eyes cannot handle any irritation right now.”

DAUGHTER OF MOON AND BLOOD

DAUGHTER OF MOON AND BLOOD

Aria moved behind me, steadying me as Kael reached for the arrow, his grip firm but careful. “This is going to hurt.” I nodded. He pulled. The pain hit hard enough to wipe everything else away, my vision going completely white as the arrow slid free, and for a moment I thought that was it, that this was where everything ended. But then something inside me surged. The light burst outward from the wound in a sharp pulse that forced Kael back slightly, and I felt something leave with it, something dark and burning that had been spreading through me.

The Forbidden Mate

The Forbidden Mate

’ “Divine—“ but before the young man managed to finish his sentence, the room lit up with sparkling and glittering light, the light was so bright it made Jeremiah’s eyes hurt badly, so he covered it up with his hands and failed to continue to chant his spell. “Amy, is this light a white spell too?” Jeremiah asked his book while still covering his eyes. “It appears so!” “Then what are you waiting for! Take it quick, before it disappears!” Jeremiah ordered with a bossy attitude, it made Armadale hate his grandson a little bit. Since Armadale didn't have eyes, the flashy light didn't affect him, he could locate where the shine came from with ease and absorbed some of the mana from the spell. A

The book was normally kept in the room with all the ancient books but on ceremonial days it was kept in the alpha’s safe. He carefully set it on the table. “Come on beautiful,” Arion held out his hand to me. I held his hand as I walked to the book. Carefully, I opened the cover. Without warning, the pages began to flip themselves. I was surprised to realize I wasn’t scared. The pages stopped on what looked like a series of blank pages in the middle of the book. I stared at them, but I saw nothing. Arrow and Arion stood next to me. They gently began rubbing circles on my sore back. Suddenly, the pages began to show words. The words appeared to be glowing. Before long, all the pages that had

Well written and hard to put down. the plot lines are smooth and well transactioned into 1 another, never making it confusing or disconnected. I can't wait for the next update on this book and hope that it will be more than just 1 chapter.

Is there going to be any updates? If not I will not waste any more money on it. Love the story but not the fact it doesn't get updated regularly. Sorry author but I don't pay for stories even if I love them if they don't have regular updates b

Light & Darkness: Book 3

Light & Darkness: Book 3

I looked back at the pages of the book, wrapping myself more closely in the gray scarf Oliver had given me for Christmas. However, I was not allowed to return to the land depicted in the story from my book, because I sensed a strangely familiar aura that was getting closer and closer to our property. My first thought was mother, because the structure of the aura was very similar, but a few details did not match. I put the book on the table and lifted the blanket from my lap, setting it aside, before giving Oliver a meaningful look. He must have sensed the aura as well, as was already taking Alex in his arms and then walking towards the gazebo, where Oliver sat him down on the bench next to m

My eyes widened when I saw a knife behind on him. “Wait, is that a sword? A real sword? Wow, I just saw something like that,” I said and tried to touch it, but Grant quickly tapped my hand, but there was still a small wound. Is that sword so sharp? “Look at what you did. You are, give your hand to me,” he took my hand and covered his hand. I was closed by a little light that came out of it, after that— it’s disappeared; therefore, I immediately looked at Grant and my writing.

Rejected By The Alpha, Claimed by His Billionaire Brother

Rejected By The Alpha, Claimed by His Billionaire Brother

She turned slightly. “Now.” No explanation. No time. But she understood. Because she could feel it. All of it. The power inside her. The balance. The completeness. The light didn’t belong in pieces anymore. It belonged in motion. In action. In war. Aria stepped forward. Not back. Forward. Her hand lifted. The light didn’t flare. It answered. And when she released it— It wasn’t a wave. It wasn’t a beam. It was a storm.

“I doubt he’ll do that. I think he’ll worship her relentlessly. He might even end the war for her. This is leverage for the war.” I exhaled. “And a curse for our love life.” I turned to Micha and said: “Why don’t we go to the living book and stop speculating?” Micha said: “Fine then, let’s go.” We entered my room. I retrieved the book from the drawer and set it on the table. Dread coiled in me over what it would reveal. I prayed Micha’s theory was wrong. I pressed the book with a trembling finger. Instantly, golden light blazed from the book, and golden letters burned into view. The book said:

Lurking In The Dark - Book 1

Lurking In The Dark - Book 1

Little light was better than no light at all. Reese Strahl was the first to tear up the blackness of the night. He let the cone wander over the floor, over leaves, rubbish that had not been properly disposed of, all the way to the corner where a few old wooden boxes were stacked directly against the wall. "You are doing exactly what I say now, understand?" "No idea. In your eyes I am hardly more intelligent than plankton, so tell me. " That gave another evil look. “You take the net. If something should come of it, you throw it over it, of course so far? "

The Light Through His Darkness

The Light Through His Darkness

Justin POV The sun dipped low on the horizon, a golden glow casting over the calm waters surrounding my yacht. I leaned against the balcony railing, a glass of wine in my hand. Isabella lay stretched out on the outdoor sofa, her legs curled slightly, her hair spilling over the cushions in soft waves. A book rested in her hands, its cover sporting the title The Glass Castle. Occasionally, she reached for the bowl of strawberries and grapes beside her. She smiled as she read, her fingers grazing the fruit before popping one into her mouth.
