At some point Vera said, "There is something I want to give you." She went to the desk and opened the bottom drawer and produced a small box. Metal. Old. The kind that had been kept somewhere careful for a long time. She set it on the table. "Arthur's," she said. "He kept it his whole life. Inside it is every piece of correspondence he had from Margaret. Every letter she sent from the mountain. Every card and note and postcard going back to when they were children." She looked at me. "He would have wanted you to have it. He spent his whole life wishing he had done something with what he knew and he did not know how. He would have wanted it to go to the person who finally did something."

Aria was about to give up when she heard Morgan call from the other side of the room. She looked over to where his voice came from and rounded various shelves of books. In his hand was a large brown book with gold leaf that had mostly faded. The book was torn at the binding and some pages were slipping loose. Morgan set it down on a nearby table and opened it. On the first page Aria could see was a drawing of a human with what looked like dragonfly wings. What is this? “A book about mystical creatures.” He turned the page, “I’ve never seen this before.”

David Morgan's name was written on the inside cover in his own handwriting. Freya went still when she saw it. "I didn't know he kept one," she said softly. "Do you want to read it alone?" She hesitated. "No. Stay,” she eventually replied. We sat down on the floor of the archive building and read. It took about forty minutes to get through the relevant entries. Morgana considered that for a moment then reached into the folds of her still damp robe and produced a small piece of folded parchment and a stick of writing charcoal and held them out toward him without a word. He looked at them for a long moment. Then he took them. He wrote quickly because if he slowed down his pride would find a way to stop him. The words came out flat and stripped of everything except what was necessary because anything more would have cost him something he wasn’t willing to pay. He folded the parchment when he was done and held it out to Morgana.

I replied. “The person behind this stole one of my books!” Morgan said slowly. “I told my men to search my library secretly and my journal wasn't found. I used to keep it under the ground around the place I sat. The journal is missing and the implicating map was put in another book of mine.” “How does the journal look?” I asked slowly. “Meet Jojo and ask him. He will be your new ally…” Morgan replied. I was now ready to go. I stood up and gave Morgan a warm hug. I wondered how much I would have missed if I didn't visit Morgan. I left his place with new secrets, information, and power.

He always circled the date of each day, countless times, depending how many times thoughts of he crossed his mind. He went to his gallery and opened the folder he has dedicated just for her. All memories they shared. He began to scroll through as he watched the photos. Then he reached the photo of a file.
