But what startled her most were the claw marks and scorched wounds streaked across his body—deep gashes, blackened patches of skin, like he’d barely survived a brutal fight.

The body was way past its trading value. When Su looked at the Aves' dead body, chills seeped across her belly. The dead Aves’ was headless, laced with uncountable assaults, injured claws, a hole in the chest, and both wings were torn apart. A Higher Tier Creature in such a state made her question her eyes. One had a wolf while the other had tribal Viking-themed art. The patterns began on his hands and ended on his chest. The tatts alone gave him such a dominating look but the way his hair was open unlike that neat bun, made him look like a hot caveman or a brutal Viking. He looked seemingly ruthless with such a hot appearance. She was dumbstruck and if that wasn't enough, holding a piece of chocolate fudge cake in a plate did the deed for her.

Skull after skull built up the massive back of the chair: human skulls, animals, and ones with horns and unnatural outgrowths. Bloody weapons were stuck in between them here and there, an ax wedged between a massive bone I had no chance of recognizing and a skull; its edge blinked as the light from the walls next to it hit the sharp point. Squinting my eyes and taking a step closer to see, I swear it looked like the blood on it was still wet, still flowing down the handle. And sure enough, as I came closer, I saw the drops fall and land with a splat on an old little leather drum sticking out from the massive wall of skulls and bones.
