As Cold As Ice Novels & Stories

At this time, Kacy was observing the situation in the ice house, shivering. The temperature was eighteen degrees below zero. The whole ice house was shrouded in cold air. Kacy had been frozen stiff as soon as she was thrown in. "Anybody there?" Kacy knocked on the door again, but nobody answered her. Kacy rubbed her hands and kept breathing. However, the temperature of her breath turned into ice, which could not warm her up at all. Kacy's body was getting stiff. She felt like her brain was in a mess. She felt so sleepy that her eyes were fighting and she could fall asleep at any time.

He added quickly, angrily, as if hating the softness in himself: “Don’t make me regret it.” Then he turned away, leaving Elara with the unspoken truth burning between them— The Fire King was not cold. He was burning too hot to touch.

I rush back immediately to her after making a call. Her legs and palms are suddenly turning to cold and blue and it’s scaring me to the hell. I have seen a body as cold as the ice and I never want to see anything as cold as that in my whole life. I am so much obsessed with that cold body that I don’t even used to eat any frozen things and not even walk in the cold and frozen snow.

“It looks like it.” At this point, Alex scanned the environment again. It seemed far too quiet an atmosphere to have followed such a terrible storm. He looked over at the river running not far from them, except that it was no longer running. It was now completely frozen over. He walked over to the river with growing curiosity. As he gazed upon it, something strange caught his attention. His mind had to be playing tricks on him from the exhaustion he was feeling. As he stared down at the water, it did not look frozen solid. It appeared to be motionless.

It felt like standing at the edge of a frozen lake. Beautiful and Terrifying. One wrong step, and everything could shatter. “Don’t hope too much, Toby,” I whispered into the darkness. My heart ignored me. It already has.

He remained calm and unfazed in a 50°F room, which was a stark comparison to his pathetic roommate—me—who was shivering under a thick blanket. He claimed he was the Holy Son of Frost blessed with a special body and that he could only survive long-term in temperatures below 50°F. He also claimed he had to carry an umbrella when going outside to keep himself from melting in the sun. People online had never heard anything so bizarre, so it earned him countless followers. Among them were female fans who started chatting him up. After having a taste of success, he became even more unwilling to turn off the AC.

"I literally said it was cold." "There's cold, and then there's arctic," he grumbled. More splashing, getting closer. "You can open your eyes now. I'm decent. Well, submerged anyway."

She smelt of rain. Misha always smelt of flowers. She... She smelt of rain. Suddenly, Axel wished it was raining. * The two figures came closer, Fire and Ice, with the moon shining at both of them, glad that they would meet under Her watchful gaze, smiling when the two clashed finally and would prove once and for all, the power of love itself. Let the magic begin.

It smells too much like her and the future I’m not supposed to want. I end up at The Ice House—the dive bar near the university where the hockey guys and pack kids hang out. It’s a Friday night crowd, and usually, people give me a ten-foot radius because I look like I’m looking for a reason to kill someone. I slide into a corner booth, hood up, back to the wall. I order a whiskey, neat, and watch the room. Until I hear the name. Aiden. Two pack guys at the next table are leaning in, their voices low, but wolf ears catch every syllable.

With an unsteady breath, I dipped one foot in. The cold hit like a sting. Sharp! Unforgiving. I sucked in air and clenched my teeth as I lowered myself in slowly, inch by inch. The chill raced from my legs upwards and wrapped around my hips, and by the time it kissed the fresh bruises, I already sank myself beneath the ice. I stayed. Pain like this doesn’t go away with warmth. It needs to be shocked. Frozen. Sliced and silenced. From the moment my body was fully submerged in the water, my breath caught—tight and shallow—as if the air had been sucked out of the room.
