Pointing it out I gave Gideon a raised brow and snickered, “Looks like you are the only person concerned.”
Starting to step around the huge man, I was yanked back, but not by Gideon. It was Gavin.
“Stop being so gung-ho; they're Styx's friends, not ours,” he snarled, and I shrunk back.
“I could take them but a knife would be nice to have,” I muttered sourly.
The assassin snorted and dug into his leather jacket, pulling out a dagger, and handed it to me hilt first.
