Chapter Nineteen Halle Wilder ~•~ I was restless throughout the night, I couldn’t even get proper sleep because a part of me was scared. I watched Ivy as she slept peacefully. Maybe I was just being paranoid. Ivy was on my side. After what felt like an eternity, the sun finally came up. Ivy yawned loudly as she stretched her arms and legs out before opening her eyes. When she turned to look at me, she saw that I was wide awake.

M​y w‍ater breaks at 3 AM on No⁠vem⁠b‍er 14t⁠h, thirty-eight wee​ks exactly. ‌I wake u⁠p wet and con​fused, then realize what’s ha​ppen‍ing, “Amon said," AM⁠ON. It’s ti⁠me⁠.” He shoots up l⁠ike h​e’s been elec‍trocu‍ted. “​Now‍? Like ri‍ght now?”

Aurora whispered back, her voice quiet but filled with warmth. Owen stirred next, tightening his hold on her slightly before blinking awake. His gaze immediately swept over Aurora’s face, as though to check if she was okay. When he saw her faint smile, some of the tension in his expression softened. He kissed the side of her head gently before sitting up, reaching for his phone on the nightstand. Within minutes, the calm of the room shifted. Owen’s deep, commanding voice filled the air as he made a call. His tone was sharp, authoritative, the voice of a man who was not only a husband but also a protector, making sure that everything was ready for his brother’s return.

4:05 am The alarm clock on a phone began echoing around the small living space of a small cabin. The ringtone that has been set as an alarm clock was called At My Best by Machine Gun Kelly woke up a half-naked man with fair muscle with a few healed claw scars. He began stretching and doing his usual morning routine - brewing coffee and toasting some slices of bread and reheating leftover food from last night's dinner. “Luca, wake up, dude.” the man knocked on the wooden door of a room before waking up another man who was totally knocked out beside his wife and youngest child in their midst.

The sun rose early the next day as the rays filtered into the pack house. Almost everyone had gotten up and was busily involved in one thing or another. Aluma was busy sleeping when she felt a tug in her head and she groaned. "Wake up!" Came the whisper as Aluma snapped her eyes open as her body tingled in anticipation. She couldn't believe it. Was her wolf finally awake from its slumber? "Wake up! The voice came harsher this time as Aria replied,

When I opened my eyes again, I was in a hospital room. Fortunately, I had called the police. Both Edith and I were rescued. Evelyn's voice came. "Edith, you haven't eaten for a day. I've brought you food." I looked up and saw her cutting fruit into different shapes, trying to feed Edith. Edith was annoyed, but when she noticed that I was awake, she raised her eyebrows proudly and took a bite of the fruit.

Arnold's Awakening: The heart monitor's steady beep was the only sound in the dimly lit hospital room. Arnold's unmoving figure appeared pallid and emaciated against the stark white blankets. Tubes emerged from his body, carrying vital fluids and medications. Alice kept a single watch at his bedside, her eyes swollen from sleepless nights and a constant stream of tears. "You have to wake up," she said softly, grasping his limp hand. "The kids need you. "I need you." As if responding, Arnold's fingers trembled almost slightly on her hand. Alice's head jolted up, and new tears welled up as she examined his face, looking for any additional indications of consciousness. Arnold's eyelids flickere

Alarm sucks And I mean they suck. Why? Because they wake you up, especially when you don't want to be woken up. The loud, incessant wail of my alarm pierced through the silence, jolting me awake. The shrill sound echoed off the walls, sending waves of panic throughout my body. Its urgency demanded attention, sounding like a warning of impending danger. The blaring noise continued relentlessly, like a persistent presence that refused to be ignored. Its piercing intensity would not rest until its purpose was fulfilled.

Vamoire is not speaking as well. “Are you sure you did not overdose them with that certain drug?” Hodor adjusted himself on the throne, his back is fully leaned on it. “I am sure we had only given the right amount,” Viller confidently answered. “They will wake up soon, my King,” Jek chimed in. “Oh, they are moving. I think they are gaining their consciousness,” he immediately added seeing them slowly moving their limbs. Hodor’s eyes is flashed with anticipation. “Finally,” he uttered in a creepy voice.

Saturday Morning The first light of dawn crept through the flimsy curtains of Kayla’s small dorm room, painting the walls with a soft, ethereal glow. The familiar symphony of birdsong outside, a chorus of chirps and trills, mingled with the distant, muffled hum of the awakening city, a low thrumming that vibrated through the floor and into the very bones of the building. Even without the jarring intrusion of an alarm clock, Kayla’s body, attuned to the rhythms of habit and routine, stirred from its slumber. Years of ingrained discipline had etched this internal clock into her very being, a reliable mechanism that roused her even when her mind craved the solace of sleep.
