UNBROKEN : THE ROGUE LUNA
Below us, a deep gorge opened up, its bottom swallowed by rolling mist.
Ferris stopped abruptly, dropping to one knee with a sharp intake of breath.
"What is it?" I asked, stepping around him.
He was staring at the cliff wall. Carved into the black stone, half-hidden by pale lichen, was a massive inscription. The letters were angular, sharp, completely foreign, but beneath them, translated in a much newer hand, was writing I recognized instantly.
