The Island

The Island

This was all about living out a fantasy, and while some of the participants probably had quite violent fantasies to fulfill, it was reassuring to know the staff was available and watching everything to make sure they didn’t go too far. “Hannah’s currently handing around backpacks for you. You’ll find a few survival-type items inside, along with food and water. Use the contents however you wish, but don’t forget to strategize. You want to make the hunt last as long as possible, both for entertainment value and to diminish the time the hunters have if they claim you. Have fun and stay focused, ladies. Good luck.” The black-haired man took a step back, signaling the end of his speech, and joine

Antiquarian's Precious Find

Antiquarian's Precious Find

Once he could get his hands on a new vehicle, he’d find her some different clothes and force her to change. Opening the first of the two stolen backpacks, he examined the meager contents, pleased to find three bottles of water and a handful of granola bars, a spelunking headlight and a basic first aid kit. Checking the other, he found additional water and food, two pair of climbing gloves, both too small for him, sunscreen, a map and navigation tool, a multi-tool pocketknife and firestarter kit.

Moonstone - A Goddess Among Us

Moonstone - A Goddess Among Us

In the distance my eyes spot Jaxson’s backpack lying on the ground, and I had to wonder if there was anything packed in it that I could use to defend myself. Slowly and carefully, I begin to step backwards away from the two wolves making my way towards the backpack, as the two wolves snarled at each other, like they were sizing each other up. Finally, I reached the backpack, lowering myself to the ground to unzip it. Reaching inside it, I pulled out a couple of bottles of water, the candy bars that I had bought at the convenience store, a first aid kit, and lighter, nothing that would help me.

Absolutely incredible! Moonstone is a book that encompasses survival, justice, family, love, mates, discovery and understanding. This book brings you on a journey of Quinn's life from the time she meets Jaxon, Bishop and Tanya, as she opens up about her past and how all will change in the future.

In all honesty, the book is really good, but there are a lots of repetitions and I miss Jaxson’s POV from the first few chapters. There are parts where I feel like details are missing, like how did he found out that they are mates. I recommend to go through this with your editor if you have one :)

Trix System Unlocked: The Butterfly Effect

It was the backpack she was carrying when she died! It was big too! Like... Something inside... "V-V! Why do I have my backpack here?!" Veiled Deception

Veiled Deception

The streetlights flicker, half-awake—just like me. Shadows stretch across the pavement, pulsing in rhythm with my thundering heartbeat. My backpack digs into my shoulders, stuffed with everything I didn’t have time to fold: clothes crumpled into corners, my battered journal, a charger dangling like a lifeline, a few torn bills, and a half-melted chocolate bar. None of it mattered if I didn’t make it out.

Stranded with the Billionaire

Stranded with the Billionaire

They couldn't get too much from the bears roaming Greenland . He puts food in his backpack and wraps the rest in a tarp. He folded it into a square, then took a string that he had stuffed into his sports bag. "What are you doing?" Madeleine asked. He looked at her. "It's called the Yukon Pack. I can pack more things this way than this little backpack. His gaze fell on the backpack. "Is this what I'm wearing?" Sage nodded. "Correct." Irena stepped forward and grabbed it. She then walked over to her suitcase and rummaged through it. After pulling out a few items, she stuffed them into her backpack. Sage tried not to notice that one of the items had his boyfriend's picture on it.

The Alpha Twins' Hidden Mate

The Alpha Twins' Hidden Mate

And even when they relaxed their rules, they still never let me go back. I found a backpack under my bed, and stuffed what essentials I could find into it by touch. I didn't dare try to turn on the lights. They probably wouldn't turn on, but if they did it'd be a beacon leading right to me. I did find a flashlight which I shoved into the bag without bothering to test it. I added some canned food that shouldn't be expired yet, and my first aid kit. I added some of my clothes, and my favorite book. I went back to the kitchen and rifled the junk drawer for the tiny bundle of human money I'd managed to earn over the years and stashed away just in case.

His Rejected Warrior Luna

he warned, running his fingers across his throat, then added, “They're headed north.” Nodding I chewed on my bottom lip and asked if he had any jerky he could offer. “I'm hungry,” I pouted and watched as he dug through his backpack and handed the entire thing to me. “Hazel put some clothes in there and nonperishable food for you,” he shrugged and I thanked him profusely. “Let Hazel know that I owe her big-time,” I mumbled as I dug inside the bag to see a ziplock bag full of dried meat.

My Fictional Alpha and Me being his Luna for real?!

My Fictional Alpha and Me being his Luna for real?!

I’d packed light, like he said. The backpack, miraculously returned by one of his trusted guards, was slung over one shoulder. Inside: the med kit (still half-full), the half-empty water bottle, a spare tunic and leggings Genesis had given me, a small pouch of dried meat and hard bread from the kitchens, and the gray fur cloak folded neatly on top. No phone. No wallet. No proof I’d ever lived anywhere but here. Genesis appeared in the doorway without a sound, dressed in dark leathers, a hooded cloak of his own, a short sword strapped to his back and a dagger at his hip. He carried a small satchel and a rolled blanket.

His Secret Backer

His Secret Backer

Mandy didn't hesitate, quickly occupying the largest guest room right beside the master bedroom. Following that, piles of luxury packaging boxes frequently littered the living room. A designer bag today, a pair of limited-edition high heels tomorrow, and a set of high-end skincare products ordered the day after. Every time it came to payment, she would smile and say to Heidi. "Mr. Tucker will be a big shot in the future. This bit of money is nothing." Meanwhile, Harrison was being driven insane by debt collection calls. Overdue credit card reminders popped up one after another, and the banks continuously pressured him for repayment.
