Behind her is a narrative perspective or framing device where events unfold primarily through the awareness or influence of a female character, often revealing unseen motivations or consequences tied to her presence or actions.
I leaned off the sink and walked straight for her.
She backed up, surprised, but could only go so far when the door behind her closed her off.
“Tell me what's going on, because I wouldn't mind using other ways to draw it out of you.”
He stops and looks behind me.
Not saying anything, he stands perfectly still until I turn around. Right behind me stands my neighborhood soul eater, wearing blood red lipstick and showing the both of us her toothy grin. Her tongue lashes at me and I feel the air just in front of my face stir as it misses me by a mere centimeter or two.
Grace spread her arms defensively.
“Yes. She's not." Amaya spoke up too.
I just stood behind them with a rigid heart. It was as if the cigar had wiped away my fear hormone.
“Let me just follow her. I'll be back girls." I said with less concern, my voice deeper than usual.
Grace turned to me, worries written all over her face.
She felt a bit afraid but she still walked toward the door where the steam was coming from .
When she was about to open teh door , she felt a heavy yet warm breath behind her back and froze . Her body was unable to move from the fear that had captivated her .
" You're here ! " said a voice behind her .
Although I agree with another comment about some issues with grammar and spelling it really isn't that bad compared to almost all other stories I've read here and I have to say that this story really struck a cord in my heart. Such a lovely and inspiring story and I am very pleased with how it ended

She breathed and I spotted tears lining her bottom lid.
Forcing a casual smile onto my face, I laughed it off. "Come on. The devil himself wouldn't want to get on my bad side and you know it." I joked but the weight of her gaze gave me pause.
"Siya?"
"Inside. Not in the best condition. I was wondering if you might-" I couldn't finish my sentence before her eyes slid right past me. Widened considerably.
And I knew exactly who was standing behind me.
"Aiden."
Just like that, she left me to my own devices. Ran her mate down like a damned truck, nearly tackling him to the ground in the process. A gush of air parted his lips but the man held firmly to his mate.
I would personally deal with her.
I followed through the back door, where most of my culprits are being brought in for execution.
By the time I reached her, she was trying to eavesdrop on what is happening inside of the room. Too bad it's sound proof and no matter how anyone shouts, it could not ever be heard.
"What the hell are you doing here?" I growled, standing right behind her
She flinched a bit and then turned to face me.
“She knew. She moved before it hit.”
I swallowed hard. “Keep going.”
Her head tilted, like she was trying to focus on something just out of reach.
“There were hunters,” she said. “But… something is wrong.”
“What do you mean wrong?”
“They weren’t alone.”
That made me pause “Explain that.”
Her fingers tightened around the cloth, her breathing uneven now. “There was something behind them. Not standing with them. Watching them.”
“A second group?” I asked.
“No.” She shook her head slightly. “Not hunters. Not wolves either.”
Invisible.
She stood in front of the small mirror by the wall, adjusting the hoodie over her frame.
“You shouldn’t wear that,” a voice said behind her.
