I couldn’t get my head around what he had just said. “I don’t know; he’s not here anymore. Ever since Ayla brought me back through the planes, I can’t hear him or feel him; he won’t respond when I call,” he paused, “and I can’t hear you guys through our link either, but you can still hear me.”

“Of course it me ..I would never leave you .When I told you I love you ,I wasn’t joking “Ben smiled . “I thought you left me !,...I thought you found another girl ...I thought !....” Ben chuckled .”You are just imagining stuffs Rissa but it not possible and ....” She interrupted..”Wait !Am communicating with you !” “What are you talking about ?”He arched his brows . “I can hear you ...Oh My goodness ! I can really hear your voice “Rissa shouted and started spinning around . “I can’t believe this ...I ....”She stopped when she couldn’t find Ben again .

YES! Wait. I didn’t send him any messages through the mind l**k. How did he……?? A soft chuckle echoes in my mind as Ben chimes, “I don’t know how I have done it, but when I was wondering whether to try and talk with you, I suddenly hear your thoughts. By the way, you better not block me, ever.” I smile and reply, “Don’t worry. I will never block you. You are my best friend.” I pause for a second. “Hey, did Ford finally let you go so you can rest? Don’t tell me that you are talking with me while….”

He paced around the room and stopped to listen for a bit. "Are those..." He paused, his ears perked. "Can anyone hear that?" He suddenly asked his men. The men stood straighter, more alert and listened for any disturbance. I tried to listen too, but I couldn't hear anything, probably because the safe room was sound proof too. He got out his walkie talkie and tried to send a message, "Bernard. Bernard, is everything okay at your end?" But nothing but static was heard and I had a feeling it had to doing with being in a panic room that cut off sound and signal from the outside.

“Can you hear me?” “Yes, Liam. I can hear you.” “Let me in.”

We both were startled by this sudden reply. ‘ Forgive my rude question but you never mindlink us, so I am confused as to why you are doing it now, Your Highness. ’ He added when we didn’t reply. ‘ He can hear me in his head. ’ Beast screamed in delight. ‘ No, he can’t. That’s not possible? ’ I was shocked out of my mind and didn’t know what to think of it.

Chelsea hollered after Ben before he got too far away, “Is it possible to get Cheyenne and Jax here as well?” “I’m sure they’re already on their way sweetness.” Ben smiled back at her before turning around and heading out the door. “You better hope they are otherwise our mate is going to kill us both!” Axle growled inside my head. “Calm down ass monkey. They’ll be here.” Ben reassured him before opening the mindlink and searching for Gunner or Cheyenne. “Gunner, Cheyenne, anybody there!” Ben asked through the link. “Dude! What do you want this early in the morning? Someone better be dying!” Gunner groaned.

“That can’t be right.” “Mum used to get so annoyed with me, she always thought I was ignoring her. Dad was just as bad.” He stares at me, his eyes glazing over. When they return to normal, he frowns. “Did you hear me?” “No.” “That makes no sense. I’ve marked you and I know the link is open between us, so why can’t you hear me?”

How she make me feel so weak and in pain? Someone rushed in. It was Calvin. I knew I had said we should keep our distance but he was the only one who could help me right now. “I can’t hear…I can’t hear anything!”I screamed. Though I couldn’t hear myself but the way they all turned to look at me…I guess I must have been really loud. I felt so scared right now. Calvin walked over to me and bent down. He said something and I still couldn’t hear him. “What’s happening?Speak out….I…I can’t hear you…I can’t hear you…”I cried.
