Thorin smirked in amusement. I tried to process the information, but his head was still spinning. “Yeah. Your head is going to be a little fuzzy for a while. Beast lives up to his name entirely. He doesn’t hold back on his punches regarding his enemies,” Thorin laughed. “You’re lucky you are pure beta blood, or he could’ve caved in your face with that hit.” I stared at Thorin in disbelief. “I kid you not, Beta. I’ve seen it happen. That boy is pure evil when he hits. You’re also lucky because he doesn’t take prisoners. I was the one who wanted you. Otherwise, you’d be dead already.”

In the back of my mind, I am hoping the software is wrong and we get nothing out of searching the area. I follow 2010 into the forest and he looks at the trees and forest floor, “Nothing seems disturbed here; we go deeper.” I nod and our feet crunch the pine needles and dirt below. The walk is silent until suddenly 2010 breaks the silence, “There are free wolves?” he asks. I sigh, nodding, “Yes, we are bred from captured wolves. Either bred in-house or made from their DNA.” He stops for a moment but then continues to walk, “How do you know all of this?” he asks.

Its target was Kaden’s throat. Kaden didn't flinch. He stepped into the attack, his massive right hand shooting out like a piston. He caught the wolf by its armored collar, the metal plating crunching under his bare fingers. With a roar of pure alpha dominance, Kaden slammed the wolf into the concrete floor, shattering the tiles beneath it. Before the creature could recover, he brought his heavy boot down on its chest, crushing the cybernetic core processor bolted to its sternum. The wolf stiffened, sparks flying from its armor, and went completely still.

We quickly dressed in time to sit down to burgers from the grill. “My favorite.” I put two on my plate, to everyone’s surprise. “Hungry, little witch?” Boomer chuckled. “That was one long shower.” “I was really dirty,” I said with a mouthful, making Boomer laugh harder. “Yeah, I caught you playing with your wolf in the forest.” He snickered. “Esmerelda has a wolf.” My dad clarified. “You do? A witch and a wolf.” Boomer looked questioningly at my dad. “You have something to tell me, Harlon?”

"You should be healing faster. You're too human, but still no signs of a concussion. Feel free to sleep all you want." The Doctor let out a yawn. "I know that's what I'm going to do," he said. "In the future don't take a shower when you're that tired. Then I won't get woken up for late night slips." Clara glanced at James. She debated on telling the truth or keeping it a secret. He told her the chest pains were a normal part of becoming a wolf and that they would get better with time, but this was only the second time it had happened.

Morgan said. No. No, this wasn’t happening. I’ve spent my whole life being trained to hate wolves. I can’t actually be a wolf. This is fucking insane. I looked at Ben and he wasn’t looking at me weird either. But he’s also the one that called out to Ezra and Morgan. “You’re a wolf.” I said, looking at Ben. “I was sent in to help you find your wolf. A wolf that is raised by humans won’t get their wolf. They need to be around their own kind.” Ben explained.

She turned gracefully, her fur rippling like silk, and led the way into the building. “Vireya,” Xareth said coldly, “get me the Heartstone.” A hush fell over the clearing. Gasps echoed from the bear and the other animals, who had been going about their lives just moments before. Conversations stopped, wings stilled, even the trees seemed to recoil. “What?” the white bear said, voice trembling. “That’s impossible." I didn’t want to, but it didn’t matter. At his command, my body betrayed me. My wolf surged forward. I watched through her eyes, powerless, as she lunged at the bear.

"I’m ready, Zayn. I'm actually eager to see these wolves of yours." My lips curve into a genuine smile. I can't wait for her to meet Venom. It's very frustrating having to deal with these old men, at least not now. I can't seem to concentrate on what they're saying, their voices oozing self-importance. All I can think of is the look on Ariel's face when she sees Venom. He's over excited to meet her as well. I kept carelessly tapping my hands on the table my patience wearing out as I waited for the wolf elders to end their bickering so I could go to Ariel.

- I don't know why I felt in my heart that my mother wanted to say more than she did. This wasn't the first time in my life, but since my father died this has gotten worse. - Mom? You didn't even seem too shocked by the location of the guy's house! - It's just that you finally have your breakfast Beck! We're leaving in thirty minutes to fix our hair for tonight. My mother didn't like to answer questions. I was used to it enough by then, so I didn't question anything anymore. I didn't question my father's obsession with wolf artifacts and legends, I didn't question why she wore a protective necklace against something that only existed in my books.

The werewolf came, its feet hitting the ground mercilessly as its hands joined in its movement. It broke out from the woods, tearing off the leaves of the trees with less effort, and growling at the sight of the man. “You can't take anyone from my family.!” Mark grinned as he shifted under the bright moonlight. His bones cracked, and his skin stretched beyond its limits, tearing to become as tough as that of a wolf. He growled at the phantom, just as the phantom growled at him. Like two behemoths, they collided, and the green grasses on the ground fell victim to their battle.
