His eyes widened mischievously and he smiled again. The rays of sunlight hit Alicia's window and she turned in her bed, covering her face with her bedsheets. She suddenly jerked up from bed and gasped. It was late already. She didn't understand herself these days. She quickly stepped out of bed and went to the mirror to readjust her dishevelled hair. She put on an Apron and a bonnet for her hair and marched to the kitchen. She was going to get back to work with the witch's spell book but she had to make a meal for Lucian she didn't want another repeat of the last episode. .

It had to be sorcery. There was no valid explanation as to why Kalan's behavior had changed so quickly and how she snatched my man away from me with a flick of the wrist.
