I couldn't see it, but I could hear it—something enormous crawling on its belly, its weight pressing the air thin around me. And then it was above me. The cold grew unbearable as slime dripped onto me, splattering my back, my head, my shoulders. Each drop felt like a death sentence, soaking me in icy filth. My stomach twisted into a painful knot, and I doubled over, vomiting what little I had left in me.

Looking around and adjusting his eyes in the darkness, he could see that he was already in a narrow plain land with bushes on the sides. "Where are they?," he mumbled to himself. Yet, there were still others that were unfamiliar to me. My foot hit the tile on the foyer lightly and I slowly made my way to where the noise was coming from.

And hello? My legs weren’t that long like theirs. I was literally skipping my steps just to keep up with this giant while Akim had fallen behind us. The giant double door was already opened soon as we took the last step on the grand staircase. Like, why do we have to take the stairs when this mansion has elevators in it.
