Jade: The Hybrid Mage
The ground beneath me quaked as something massive charged toward me.
The faint glow of the smaller creatures scattered, revealing a void darker than the rest. I couldn't see it, but I could hear it—something enormous crawling on its belly, its weight pressing the air thin around me.
And then it was above me.
The cold grew unbearable as slime dripped onto me, splattering my back, my head, my shoulders. Each drop felt like a death sentence, soaking me in icy filth. My stomach twisted into a painful knot, and I doubled over, vomiting what little I had left in me.
