The Man Behind My Mysteries

The Man Behind My Mysteries

I let out the breath of relief I didn’t know I was holding then thought I was just being paranoid for nothing and placed my palm on my chest to calm my insides. Maybe I was still not over those nightmares yet, that might be why I have these strange feelings. Releasing another air of relief, I turned back around to knock on the door since the other attempts were failed. When I turned around, I wasn’t met with the brown-colored front door, instead, it was something black… and it looked like it was a person standing there due to both black glove-covered hands on each side of the person. I came here because I needed help to be away from the cold night and from the person who I was convinced was

The CEO's Dangerous Line

The CEO's Dangerous Line

Far from Vesper City's glittering towers. A metal door slowly opened. A hidden room. A forgotten place. Dust floated through the darkness. A man stepped inside. Without hesitation, he approached an old steel safe. The lock clicked. Then opened. Inside sat a worn black book. Old. Aged. Covered in years of dust. The Black Ledger. The man picked it up carefully. Opened the first page. And smiled. Because one name appeared again. And again. And again. Written throughout countless entries. One name connected everything.

Codename: Blackheart

Codename: Blackheart

It doesn’t take long before his body finally stops moving and he takes his final breath. I throw my now empty duffle bag over my shoulder and take a look around. Should anyone have seen they’d have to join Mr Allard here, which would really mess up the scene I’ve set. I casually start walking down the street, my all-black attire consisting of my turtleneck, leggings, combat boots, leather gloves and cap with my hair neatly tucked under it with the help of a hair net – wouldn’t want to leave stray hairs behind – allowing me to blend into the shadows nicely. It’s not a statement piece, it’s practical. Can’t hide out as easily in a black car if you’re wearing neon. After a couple blocks I take

I was going to wait until book 3 is completed to start reading this series but, I have read all your books here in GN that I couldn't wait any longer. I read this book in half a day--I was hooked from the start! and about to read the second book.

Please believe me when I say, you have become my new favourite author. This story had my fista bumping and jaw dropping. It was so different and fresh and i'm so glad to see something like this here instead of the same stories done a million ways. I LOVE your work and can't wait to read more stories

Hunter's Mark

Hunter's Mark

I did a little twirl in the middle of the room and started combing the bookshelves to see what treasures I could find. I was just too excited to have found this place. I came across a smaller leather-bound book that had a weird symbol on the front and when I opened it, I realized that it was a history of the Hunter's. I decided to keep that book just in case I needed it. I was totally in my own world when I felt someone’s arms go around me and breath in my ear. "I see you found my favorite place in the house." My body shivered at the contact. I thought that I was going to melt into a puddle right then and there.

Love is War: But I'd bleed for you

A familiar book for the ride back. Jeffrey leaned closer. “What are you reading?” I didn’t look up. “Philip’s Room by Raven Black.” He looked stunned. “No fucking way! For real?”

The Rose Luna

The Rose Luna

The title etched on the cover caught my eye, sending a chill down my spine: The Lineage of the Blackhollow Coven. Curiosity and unease warred within me as I opened the book. The pages shimmered faintly, a subtle glow that hinted at the magic infused within them. It wasn’t just a history - it was alive, recording the lives of those within the Blackhollow bloodline as they unfolded. My breath hitched as my name appeared in delicate, glowing script, right above Aurora’s. The sight made my heart ache and swell simultaneously.

BLACK AND WHITE

BLACK AND WHITE

She always responded with a smile, watching us joke around with whatever she thought. Had she known? Night fell, and the sound of the roaring wind crawled into my ears. I opened my eyes, rolling lazily off the bed. The room was dark, but I could see perfectly like it was day. "Emily…" a masculine voice reached out to me. I searched the room with my eyes, the sight of a black-covered book coursing through. I could remember the book from the hospital desk but I hadn’t brought it home. How did it get here? The book looked disheveled, big, and had a strange inscription on it. I didn't remember buying such a book, nor had I seen it in Dad's hands.

Instead, he replied with actual books I’ve read before in my first life that he firmly hated. “‘Darkness Within’ is my first recommendation. Absolutely amazing. ‘Death, are you real?’ is also good, as well as ‘The Next Morning’. Those three are my best picks.” I blinked several times, visibly surprised. Earlier events completely shoved to the side as this new discovery of Cassius Silverton reading thriller books had me utterly nonplussed.

For Her

For Her

I protested to my parents in either skipping the school or transferring to another school but they forced me to be here as this is the only school which is best. I reserved a place in one of the seats available though nobody was there. I kept my bag and went in search of a nice book. I went to the thriller books section and searched for a book, perfect for reading at this moment. ‘The black coffee’ by Agatha Christie, the great author, caught my eyes as I wanted to read this book for a very long time but I didn’t get to.

The Billion Dollar Scam

The Billion Dollar Scam

There was also some other things with funny shapes ones I didn't even want to know where they went. I held the golden balls in my hand and wondered what they were for. Some of the things in here I have seen at th club and the others where just a mystery to me, I saw things I didn't even know existed. There was other things on the shelf below but I had seen enough. There was also a bookshelf with actual books in them. I took the first book I saw and read out the title, it was a book by Shayla Black called Wicked Ties. I had never even heard of the author. My phone vibrated in my pickets, I saw that it was Bradley.
