It was still lying open on the table, the pages worn and yellowed with age. My eyes skimmed over the words, searching for something I might have missed, but the stories were all the same: packs of wolves, rituals, blood magic. All things that felt a little too close to what Lucian had warned me about.

Rafe is far richer than Faghri. Rafe replies in a sad voice, "I looked in the cave, but there's no sign of anyone. Then Rafe reminds Faghri of something strange they saw. "Remember when the black wolf disappeared?" he asks. They both saw a mysterious black wolf turn into a bunch of fireflies. Faghri, quiet for a moment, agrees with Rafe. He heard his father resorted with frustration in his voice. “Dear, you shouldn’t be here. Go back to your room.” His mother hurriedly whispered when she noticed him listening to their conversation. “Wait, did you just say men in black?” Hyde resorted when he came back to his senses. His companion didn’t speak but answered him with a mere nod. “Oh, and one more thing, she also said that one of them has some kind of black bird tattoo on the neck.” Hyde was stunned when he heard about the tattoo. He’s certain, that the deceased man was one of them—or just a scapegoat.

Or was it some other creature that she didn't know about? She heard the rustling of leaves and decided to hide behind a tree. After a second, a man wearing black appeared with a kid in his arms. He was laughing maniacally. "This must be another supernatural being. He runs really fast. What is he? Gosh! He smells really bad." she p[inched her nose. She saw his teeth were elongated and his eyes were ... red? She remembered something from her childhood. Her mum had told her stories of pale-skinned people with black veins, red eyes and fangs. They fed on blood. Some simply fed on animal blood but others chose human blood. Her eyes widened in realization.
