It was meant to get clear but it came with an unusual rush from the river instead. We left the fireplace and went to the river to see what was going on. The black cloud speedily approached them, sucked away their energy, and killed them instantly. In just a short moment, only piles of skeletal remains were left in the city. James, on the other hand, sensed the terrifying power in advance. Thus, he quickly mobilized his strength and entered the Omniscience Path’s Eighth Stage to prevent being engulfed by the black cloud. “Hmm? The once blue sky was now a mixture of black and white with the moon reflecting its radiant image. Wails filled the air as a ray of light fell from the sky, hitting a mountain on the other side of town. I groaned, wincing as my hand was scorched by the flaming book. The pages settled, words in red appearing on the pages. "Strigoi, Nosferatu, Jiangshi…"
