Colt One Week Later I couldn’t get the vision of a brunette girl with hypnotizing red eyes out of my head all week. I saw her sitting in the underbrush of the tree-line to the Forest of the Okapi watching my field training with my Deltas. My first thought was - that can’t be right…a female with red eyes. Only mated Alpha wolves had red eyes. How could this female have red eyes? Was she mated too? I’d have to go to the library and do some research on this later.

Annoyed but curious, she waited while she wondered how she had suddenly lost control of this world. A man walked beside the wolf but was too far away to be identified. The red wolf left his side and raced up to the black one who hadn't moved from his chill zone. The red wolf sniffed the black one with familiarity, nudged his head with hers as if happy to see him and then sat next to him, following his focused gaze up the tree to find Cassie. Licking her jowls, the newcomer locked eyes with Cassie. The red wolf's eyes were a lighter shade of green and were wider than what seemed normal for a wolf. Those eyes held just a hint of crazy and that crazy sparkled as if trying to convey a message.

Yet there was something inside of me that was left without a doubt that the terrifying creature that stood before me was the scary Alpha’s wolf. He was bigger than any wolf I had seen or even imagined. His fur was black as night with not one spot of color, and from the look of him alone you could just tell how dangerous he was. But what made the blood freeze in my veins, more than his form, were his eyes. His blood red eyes. Those eyes watched me, as if being able to see into my soul and predict my next move. It dared me to run in fear knowing that it would make no difference.

The left eye was colored red and the right eye was colored dark blue. "W-who are you?" I asked, trembling. The wolf's eyes locked gaze with mine. She bestowed an ambiance of eerieness and cunningness. Then, a smirk crept up from her lips. "I am you..."

Blue and red. Bright colors stare into my grey ones. He bends down and whispers something to them and then they slowly start to turn and walk away. Cadmar told me their mother had red eyes, so, I assume that's her. I feel myself being pulled away from the podium but I can't seem to look away from them. My wolf was there, but not like any I’d ever seen, she was massive, jet black, darker than night, darker than death itself. Her eyes burned like fire, vivid orange flames dancing in a soulless void.
