Jacques. Several Ultara students had been hospitalized within a single week; this had broken the school record. Is there really a psychic vampire in our school? This semester is about to be fun.” She squealed with laughter. I looked at Anastasia, but her face said nothing but disappointment. Maybe I shouldn’t have said it.

“It is the only thing here that will not burn your throat or growl back.” “Growl back…?” Why was everything here so weird River nodded. “You are welcome.” I started eating. The hall was loud. Bright. Overwhelming. But something inside me started to settle. This was my new life. Messy. Strange. Wild. Scary. Or maybe I would die before breakfast.

I am required to tell you little imps everything about the academy.” Finally, I could understand what the fuck my mothers has sent me to. “Now, I can smell something weird here,” she smiled, her grin showing razor-like teeth. “My my my,” she dropped to the ground and began waddling through the crowd.
