The Rejected Luna's Return
I've been up since before dawn, and the fatigue is starting to catch up with me.
The Alpha's voice drones on, and I can feel myself starting to drift off. I try to shake myself awake, but it's no use. The monotony of the discussion has lulled me into a state of drowsiness.
I glance around the room, hoping to find something to focus on. But everything seems dull and lifeless. The walls are plain, and the only decoration in the room is a large wolf's head mounted above the Alpha's chair. It's a trophy from one of his hunts, I'm sure, but it does nothing to liven up the space.
