Not waiting for my response, I see her rushing out of the backyard. I walk to the bamboo chairs and I sit on one of them while Owen brings me tissues for my nosebleed. He handed me a bag of frozen peas, and pressed it carefully against the top of my nose.

My phone flew from my hand and hit the floor as the seatbelt dug into my chest, forcing air from my lungs. My vision became blurred and my ears rang loudly.

As Haley clutched her swollen face in alarm, a high-pitched scream escaped her. Her nose was fake, and my punch had definitely knocked it out of place. Sure enough, when she lifted her head again, her nose was skewed to one side. Paired with her grimacing expression, the sight was almost comical.

I pull the paper towel plug from his nostril and look at his nose, “it’s crooked. May I?”. He closes one eye and grits, “yeah go for it… count of…”. Before he even says 3, I grab his nose and CRACK. “Ow shit babe, fuck”. I smile at him and leave a smooch on his lips and a tiny peck on the tip of the nose.

Blood started pouring out his nose and my vision instantly start to get blurry. "Arturo," I weakly called out as I stumbled back on the bed. "Shit," Arturo muttered as he quickly pulled off his shirt and covered his nose with it. My body felt extremely weak at the sight of the blood. I didn't even know it was possible for someone to have that much blood come out of their nose.
