I smile and wave as I take my suitcase. My ear still aches, and it stings a lot more now, but when I was leaving the hospital, I had a nurse look at it, and she replaced the portion of my ear in the location, then had me go; that's how hospitals operate; everyone is always in a hurry.

She yelped and fell down harshly on the ground, facefront. Her nose hit the hard floor and she heard a crunch sound. Black dots appeared in her sight and she couldn't hear anything for a while. Her breath got caught in her throat, due to the harsh impact. All she could feel was pain, unexplainable white scorching pain, that shot through her face and went to her head, making tears to slip out of her eyes.

"You didn't see who did this?" I sigh and knead my temples. "No sir. I seen the shoe and nobody answered me, so I opened the door assuming someone was hurt...ugh..." It hurts to concentrate. My head is throbbing, and my nose broken. My sad little ladybug nose stud barely holding on to the swollen mess of my nose, slightly crooked from being reset. My brain swims, my head like a fishbowl and my thoughts are little more than random food flakes just settling to the bottom where they congealed and make no sense to me.

He sneers at me, then aims the gun once more in my brother’s direction. I ran to them, skidding to a halt, wrapping my arms around them, acting as a shield of sorts, just as the gun goes off. I felt the jeering impact of the gun reverberated through my body. A deafening ringing penetrates, then silence. It was then I realized the blast had ruptured my right eardrum, considering how loud it sounded. Blood trailed onto my shoulder from my ear. My left ear seemed fine, though I could definitely hear the boys screaming my name at the top of their lungs. That was a good sign, I guess.

My mouth was half-opened as he walked away. What is he even saying? He suddenly turned. “You should visit the clinic, your ear is bleeding” I raised my hand to touch my ear and I saw blood. WHAT THE HECK JUST HAPPENED?

Her eyes widened in horror. Whooossh, a sudden wind filled her ears, and she heard a loud pop. The side of her head filled with a sharp pang. Jade tumbled over, landing on her hip and arm. Her elbow had scraped against the pavement, causing her to wince. There were footsteps, but she couldn't tell the direction they were coming from because her head was throbbing and her right ear was ringing.

Tears filled my eyes i'mmediately while my ears rung piercely in my head. I absentmindedly wondered whether my nose wasn't broken.. it sure hurt like hell. I reeled back but then before I could gather myself, bright lights all of the sudden flashed in my vision only for a second then a white cloth was slapped on my face. It blocked off my nose, mouth and eyes.

My gasp of pain. My nose began to throb and a rush of fluid over my lips and chin told me it was bleeding. “Shit!” I muttered, putting my fingers to my nose to feel the damage, sure enough it was broken and crooked. My eyes began to tear up involuntarily as I placed my fingers on either side of my wounded nose and I almost yelled out at the pain as I snapped it back into place. “Fuck, I got him with the door.” Muttered one of the guards placed at my door to the other.

Pain blooms behind my eyelids and I hold my nose in my palm, feeling blood trickling from it. I lick the blood dropping my nose before cleaning it off, smearing it all over the back of my hand. "You shouldn't have done that," I warned before going after him. He had managed to climb to his feet, one eye swollen shut and one arm hanging limp by his side. I sweep his feet out from under him, and rain blows upon blows on him. I stood up, and stepped on his knee with my boot, hearing a sickening crunch as the bone cracked into two.
