I rub my hand at the back of my head, working out an apology. "You dared me to be honest." Marelyn turns with the blindfold on. Her feet are unstable because she can't see a damn thing. I hold her hand, bringing her closer. "How does the blindfold help?" "It intensifies the feelings you get. Your loss of sight makes you hyperaware of everything around you. It's safe." "What if I say you don't have to do these things?" I cock my head to the side. "You want me to do nothing?"

Sicily jumped at the sound of footsteps with a familiar frequency. Her hand clasped, the other sought a grip on Esters fingertips. "Calm down, Miss, normalise your breathing!" whispered Ester. Sicily followed all of Ester's directions, but anxiety and fear were still evident in her eyes. A man came closer, a figure with a distinctive scent began to greet the blind girl's sense of smell. "What business does a blind woman have at the auction, is there any ability?" Harlan's voice was clearly caught by Sicily's ears.

Lorenzo cleared his throat, "Yes." He firmly said, raising his chin up. Bonnie only shrugged, "Alright." They went downstairs and sat on the huge leather couch. Lorenzo switched on the TV and handed the blindfold to Bonnie. "Care to help?" She smiled and took the blindfold from him. Bonnie put the blindfold over his eyes and he turned around making it easier for Bonnie to tie it.

As soon as Hailey heard Mirabel's words, she chuckled and attempted to speak, but Mirabel rapidly placed her palms against Hailey's mouth and robbed her from speaking. “Aunt, I need nothing but a sincere answer from you,” said Mirabel as she fearlessly stared Hailey in the eyes.
