At the Kibich Central Teaching and Referral Hospital (KCTRH), Kate, a surgical doctor and Daniel’s acquaintance was coming out of a three-hour surgery. Before going to the changing room to get out of her surgical attire, she rushed to her office and locked the door behind her. She quickly unlocked a lower drawer on the left side of her desk. She then took out a blood bag and helped herself to gratification. As a vampire, working at the hospital as a surgeon, always exposed to blood and, keeping her secret was no easy task.

The leaves on the tree withered like they have been burned and then the leaves fell to the ground, the tree were dying. Serra's heart leaped and she almost caught out of breath. They turned around and saw three Badbloods behind them in the distance. The one has a quiver full of arrows on his back, a huge gray wolf with sharp teeth and vicious pair of ember eyes, and another man that quickly vanished behind a tree and ran towards them.

A stone fireplace warmed the room to an almost stifling temperature, the fire crackling as he pulled her towards an armchair. "Sit." He positioned her in front of the chair and slid his calloused hand down her arm as she sunk into the navy and gold embroidered cushions. His eyes shone yellow in the reflection of the flames, the only source of light in the room cast deep shadows across the panelled walls. The gloom swallowed him, and a soft click of a door opening sounded from the other side of the room. He reappeared by her side with a small first aid kit. "You're going to treat my wounds?"

Grey is usually a dull colour that helps you blend in and in most cases that’s what it does. but for some reason she stood out which was the opposite of the desired effect. A small wind blew, and her hoodie flew away revealing a tattoo on her neck. The tattoo that was embedded in my mind and often would give me nightmares. It was one unlike any other, unique, and scary at the same time. It was the blood mark curse, the girl turned around and her eyes landed on me, those green eyes and blonde hair. It’s her, its Scarlet. she looked at me for a moment and I could tell that she recognised me from our very brief encounter.

He pulled out a thick needle and shoved it straight into my already shrunken vein. He didn't use any disinfectant and was rough. Bright red blood began to rush through the tube and into the collection bag. As the liquid drained from me, my vision blurred. The cold sank deeper into my bones. My heartbeat slowed to a crawl. Still in Whitney's arms, Cameron cracked one eye open. He let out a cruel smile at me. It was like he was watching an animal being bled out on a hook. I smiled back. It was a smile of release.

I had been trying so hard to keep everyone safe, but it seemed like trouble kept finding us. “Show me the bodies,” I said, standing up from my desk. Jaxon led me to where the bodies were being kept. When I saw them, I could immediately tell this wasn’t the work of a regular animal or even a normal Bloodburn. The wounds were strange, almost like they had been made by claws but not quite. “I think it might be wild animals,” Jaxon said, studying the marks on the victims. “Maybe wolves from another territory.” I shook my head. I knew better than that. These wounds had a different smell to them, a different energy. This was definitely the work of a Bloodborne, but not like any I had fought before

I shrugged and plopped down on the first fucking seat before I chalked out a plan for my revenge. The storage room was dark. The hallway light poured in from behind Derrick, illuminating a large stain of dark red across the floor. It stretched from the doorway where he stood all the way to the corner of the room. I was slumped against the wall with my head tilted slightly to one side. A dried wound cut across my temple. The area around it had swollen into a massive purple bruise, so swollen that one of my eyes was nearly unrecognizable. Blood from my nose had run past my lips and chin, smearing across my cheeks and ears.
