Crossing Lines
The fabric was damp from the humid air and clung to his chest, doing nothing to hide the way his body flexed beneath it—shoulders broad, arms coiled with power, his chest rising and falling with each steady breath like a storm waiting to break.
Then he stepped back, just enough to unfasten the buttons of his shirt, his eyes never leaving mine. One by one, the fabric parted, revealing the smooth, bronzed skin beneath, each line of muscle like something sculpted—defined, lean, powerful. The shirt slipped from his shoulders and hit the stone floor, and my breath caught.
