I was beyond confused now; what did an old book have to do with Clarissa? "You guys have no idea what this is, do you?" We shook our heads, waiting for Alyssa to explain. "It's a grimoire of supernatural creatures. The book was written by the Fae elders and told everything there is to know about every supernatural creature in existence... including how to kill them."

There were large leather-bound books, most of which looked shabby due to dust or old age. An old gold-bound book with foliage ornaments was located on the topmost bookshelf. It looked the thickest of all the books there. I was curious and looked at the contents. This book explains everything about witches, from rituals to how to fight with them. It was probably written by our predecessors. But some of the pages at the back talked about potions from plants as well as treatment steps using magic spells. I guess it's more similar to the rituals of white witches. I closed it and put it back on the shelf. Then I heard

The voices still whisper words I don’t understand. “Up here,” Crimson gestures to the empty space I created, but his finger points upwards to the very top shelf. I look around for a ladder before calling for Mathias. He steps down the long row followed closely by Tawny and Althea who watch on with curious eyes. Mathias lifts me up and my fingers brush the book that sends a jolt of sparks down my hand and up my arm. Removing the book, I find a box hidden behind it. “Here,” I say as I pass books down to Crimson while my giant still holds me up.

"The Origin" I stared at it for like 5 seconds and quickly returned it to the shelf. My father seriously needs a doctor, why is that this kind of book, a children's book, inside such an important library? I shook my head in disbelief and resumed searching until I heard something fell again. I looked back and it was the same book. Irritated I was, I opened the book, and slowly a magic circle formed underneath me. The book began to shine and a creature was formed, wait, did I just said a creature? A FREAKING CREATURE?!

he pushes it towards me, “It’s merely a book. I want you to open it to a page, any page, and see what you notice.” I give him an uncertain sideways glance before squeezing my eyes shut as I blindly flip through the pages of the book. After a few seconds, I stop, my finger hovering over a page about halfway through. Opening my eyes a crack, I watch as Gideon tilts his head to get a better view of the page. “Interesting,” he murmurs. “Of all the pages in this book, you turn to that one.” I open my eyes the rest of the way and look down. There is a picture of a person sitting in a ring of crystals. I don’t even need to read the title at the top to know what it says.

As Felix turned to the next page, an overwhelming force emerged. He could not move. Though his body remained intact, he felt something draining away. "No! The book is absorbing my soul energy." Just as everything began to spin, something struck the book and stopped the drain. New text appeared on the second page. "Bearer of the Destiny Crystal, you are worthy to learn my techniques." The Destiny Crystal! Felix was stunned. Was this book alive? How could it detect the crystal in his soul?

Khyrix immediately stepped between me and the text, "Let me go through it." He laid the book on the table. As he carefully opened the heavy cover to the table of contents, I leaned over his shoulder, holding my breath. There was a strange substance growing all over the pages. Whatever it was, it grew like a network of veins, wrapping tightly around the edges of each sheet. Khyrix’s eyes scanned down the table of contents, instantly opening to page four hundred and thirteen. The page revealed a highly detailed, hand-drawn illustration. It was an exact replica of the massive tree that stood at the heart of our academy grounds.

"Nevermind that, Jus. Let's continue. I was told that only Telekinetic Krysts can read such blank book. Have you found any?" Jucel nodded at once. "I do." She opened the book and flipped through its blank pages. "At first you will see it blank." Then she flipped her two fingers on her left hand up to the air and swiped it across the pages. The wind began to pick up and the pages glowed. After a while, it died down and the pages were filled with runes and texts.

Instead, it was divided into two different books. At this time, only Tyr got to see this. Those behind him were still terrified of those Cannibalistic Parasites and dared not approach him. Tyr casually grabbed one of the books and the Holy Ice Silkworm and stuffed them into his sleeves. After that, he took the other book out of the coffin. When the others saw Tyr holding the book, the Golden Swallow, the Dark Occult Bishop, and the rest were overjoyed. “Kid, bring me the Maddox Scripture.” The Golden Swallow of the Jade royal family immediately stretched his hand out and said to Tyr.

The cover of the book showed several small circles, each one depicting a form of metamorphosis. One of them particularly caught her attention. It showed a humanoid creature morphing step by step into something that looked like a phoenix. “One of these books might have an answer to where the dinosaurs actually came from,” Romos joked.
