Chapter 101 ***ESTHER*** The first sight that I see as soon as I open my eyes are the twinkling stars right above my head and they are many. For some moments, I feel as if I am seeing the dream. I have never seen a lot of stars in a long time. I don't know if I had thought they were less important to ever observe or maybe they were less visible in the high pollution of the city area, I just hadn't seen them as beautiful as they are right now.

Chapter 003 Esther's POV I collected the papers with my shivering hand, my sight was blurred with tears, my heart tightened when I saw that Michael had already signed. I swallowed my saliva and signed as my tears dripped on the sheets. “Here you go,” I said as I handed over the papers to him. “Now leave!” Mrs Flora ordered, without an atom of sympathy, her finger pointing at the entrance door. Esther says as she quickly stands up from the bed. "What kind of gift is that?" Anita asks, but Esther has already darted out of her room. Anita smiles and decides to wait for Esther to return, staring out of her room window into the dark clouds. Esther rushes into her room and opens her box, taking out the packaged nylon, while Favor jumps down from the bed and rushes to meet her. "What's that, sister?" Favour asks Esther, surprised to see a package of nylon wrapped as a gift. Esther smiles at Favour and doesn't respond. She immediately rushes back to Anita's room, with Favor trailing behind her.

Esther stood in the doorway. Her hair was curled into large waves that cascaded over her shoulders, making her face look even paler and smaller. When she looked at me, her eyes were filled with provocation and smug satisfaction. "Naomi, it's been a long time." I ignored her and continued organizing the books on the counter. She wasn't bothered. Instead, she wandered around the store. "Naomi, have you really fallen this far? Running a little bookstore like this? How much can you possibly make in a month?"
