The stores pass by in a blur and the silence in the car is comfortable. My legs are bouncing up and down at different speeds and I’m buzzing with excitement. I’m humming to myself and feel like I’ve slammed eight shots of espresso. The only thoughts on my mind are the stacks of books in the back seat. They call to me. I can almost hear them whispering to me, begging me to read them. One of them particularly calls to me. It’s called The Alpha’s Good Girl and do I need to say anymore about it? The title speaks for itself, but the blurb reached into my soul and I need the pain and pleasure I know it will deliver. The sun is setting and I don’t even question it as I reach down and pinch myself.

he said, extending the book towards me. I took the book, my fingers brushing against the cover as I examined the title. "Little Women," I read aloud, a sense of familiarity washing over me. "Yes, it was Jacob's favorite book, and I think you will find it captivating too," he explained, his voice filled with warmth and nostalgia. "I'm sure I will," I replied, a soft smile playing on my lips, feeling a connection to Jacob through this shared love for literature. I ran my fingers along the cover, appreciating the weight of the book and the memories it held.

I looked down at see my favorite book ever, it's called Carter Reed, "What? It's a romance book about the mafia!" He took it off my and stood to his full height. His skimmed through the pages and frowned. I tried to take it off of him, but he held his arm up so than I couldn't even reach. "Give it back Noah!" He was still reading it. My eyes widen when he got to the page of the steamy scene. I jumped on him and climbed unto his head and shoulders to get the book, but he maneuvered it away from me.

For some reason, I didn't like hearing Cam call professor Buford names, so I immediately changed the topic. "I saw that you have 'trials and triumphs' in your pile. Have you read it? It's a really good book." I said. "I was just about to start, I honestly just picked it at random from the library. But maybe we should exchange numbers so we can talk about it. If you want, that is." He was cute in that next door neighbor way. Brown, floppy hair and brown eyes, a single dimple in his left cheek. He was my nice, my age and uncomplicated. This was exactly what I needed.

No one has found the bodies yet, though, so theres still a lingering hope out there that they're alive. I sigh as I crawl under the thick quilt, flicking on the lamo beside me as I pull out my latest find at Barnes and Nobels: The Winter Garden by the famous Kristin Hannah. This woman's books are truly amazing. Then, after an hour long reading session, I find my eyes beginning to shut against my will, so I set down the book on the bedside table and shut off the lamp. ~ The next morning...

I made my self comfortable and made a point to remind my self that next I came , I should carry a blanket since the bench wasn't very warm. I immediately opened my book and got so absorbed reading it that I didn't notice footsteps approaching me till my book was yanked out of my hands. "Hey." I say protesting looking up. That looking up however let me see the most beautiful sight I had ever had the pleasure of seeing.The little boy that had yanked the book out of my hands seemed to have been God's favorite during creation because he was a sight to behold. He had white blond hair, blue eyes ,beautiful skin and was just overall perfect.
