Novel & Cerita Book Review Picture

She walked closer to one of the big shelves and touched it. She knew she wasn't supposed to be there, but she couldn't help looking around more. She took one book from the shelf and cleaned off the dust on it. She saw a picture of a black wolf on the cover of the book, which was titled A Pack of Wolves. "I can't believe a man like him reads fantasies." She scoffed. She was going through the books when her eyes suddenly caught a book. The book had a black cover with no picture on it. "Werewolves rule." She read it silently. She was about to open the book when she suddenly heard something whispering behind her.

I opened the first book *Fifty things a pregnant woman shouldn't do,* The title alone already looked so boring that it made me want to sleep. I stared at the book for a while before opening the first page to see what was written inside exactly. Seeing the first page, I suddenly felt intrigued because apart from the big writing of the publisher, there were pictures there too! It was like a book made for kids but that only went ahead to show how creative the writer and the publisher were. *I know how lazy pregnant women can be, which is why I decided to draw some pictures to hook you in. Don't drop the book, beautiful. You gonna love it,*

Look closer. Her gaze settled on a particularly weathered book tucked away near the corner. Its cover was simple, but a faint embossed design caught the light - a pair of intertwined wolves beneath a crescent moon. The image sent a shiver down her spine, and her fingers tingled as she pulled it from the shelf. She opened it carefully, the pages crackling with age. The script was ornate, the kind that took a moment to decipher, but the accompanying illustrations made her breath catch. Drawings of wolves with hollowed eyes and jagged teeth, their forms twisted and monstrous, filled the margins.

She stood on tiptoe, took that book off the third shelf, and seriously flipped through it. In the book, there is a photo of a man and a woman, the two of them embracing each other sweetly and closely, the blue eyes filled with the love of an extremely outstanding woman, with an extremely beautiful appearance.

"Well, it's... It's hard to explain, the book explains it all." "Is it interesting?" She asked looking at the book cover, it was of a young teenager holding a lamp in what looked to be a dark cave, a bat was hanging of his hands and an old witch was behind him. "It looks interesting," She muttered. "It is," He assured. She nodded her head with a small smile and placed her iPods in back, resting her head back against the car seats, she closed her eyes.

No matter how much time I spent with him, I would never get used to that side of his world. Slowly, I moved through the room, taking in the details. My fingers lightly brushed over the books as I passed the shelf. Business strategies. War history. Stoicism. Dark psychology. Art. Exactly the kind of books a man like Zane would read. As I walked to his desk, my eyes caught a small picture frame resting near the edge. I picked it up, bringing it closer to get a better look. It was an old photograph —worn at the edges but carefully preserved. A little boy, no older than four, held a tiny baby in his arms, his smile wide and filled with pure joy.

“If you don't want to be responsible for me, then stop feeling that way. I don’t need your pity.” “You’re stubborn!” “I am not; it was you," he replied, continuing to look at the book. I noticed that he’s not flipping it in the way that he’s reading it. He’s doing it like he was waiting for something to fall off of them. “What are you looking for, actually?” I couldn’t help but ask. I was so curious about whatever it was that was making him curious as well. “My picture,” he replied. “Why would you look for your picture? Did someone ask for it?”

There were no picture frames in his office, everything in there was related to books. She walked to one part of the shelves and took out a big book, which she wanted to read and Kill her boredom while she waited for Nolan. Immediately she brought out the book, a picture fell out of it and Layla bent down to pick it up. Dropping the book on the table, she took a look at the picture. It was a picture of Nolan and a girl. They both seemed to be teenagers. As Nolan looked so small there, with a passive look on his face.

Her fingers trailed over several thick volumes—Blood Oaths and Moonlight, Fangs of Fire, The Treaty of Shadows. The illustrations on the covers were beautiful yet chilling, with fanged creatures, glowing eyes, and moons stained crimson. With great care, she pulled down four books and descended, arms full. She found the oversized reading chair near the window and curled into it, flipping open the first book.
