There was a straight charred path that led to a giant hole at the edge of the trees. The borehole was surrounded by red flames, and I cast a nervous glare at Grace.

Abigail herself felt horrified to the bones. She had never heard of a particular town being destroyed due to an omega weapon until the entire race is wiped off the earth.
