MIA'S POV As I delicately turned the worn pages of the Book of Enchantments, my eyes widened in disbelief. Each incantation revealed a darker secret, a more malevolent power than the last. The ancient script described spells that could rend the very fabric of reality, summon creatures from the shadows, and manipulate minds with a mere whisper. My heart quickened as I stumbled upon a page filled with vicious curses, each word practically dripping with malice. The realization struck me like a physical blow – this book, revered for its enchantments, was a weapon of unimaginable destruction.

I grabbed one book carefully but as I did, another fell out. I dropped the one I had picked and picked up the one that had fallen on the floor instead. I moved to sit on a chair with the book in my hand. I opened it up and began reading it and only then did I realize that it was a spell book, an ancient Vampire spell book for making certain types of potions. The writing was slightly different from usual and it was faded but I was somehow able to read it.

I tore open the present I had brought her. "It's titled Three Realms. It's a love story I would want you to pay attention to." "Ok." I watched as she examined the book cover. "That's a princess with a body of bones, would the book be scary?" She was watching me with gazes that were doing things to me. "No, I told you it's a love story. I'll be going for breakfast and I'll definitely bring yours when I'm done." "Can I go check up on Belle?"

He places the stack on another empty table, and I approach, curious to see what he has brought. “Here you go, Miss Anara Valen. If I may advise you, I suggest starting with this book here,” Zephyr points to a red book with gold lettering. “It’s about the division of the packs. Then go to this book here,” he points to another book with a green cover. “This one is about the old alphas of Nightveil Pack, and then the rest is up to you.” I give Zephyr a sincere and enthusiastic smile for his tips and dedication in fetching all these books for me.

Layla says as her and Lorie step out of her room and follow me to the study. "I figured since you are looking for answers you might find better luck looking here." I say as I point to various shelves of books. "Thank you." Layla says as she picks up a book and carefully rubs her hand across the cover. "I've never seen a real spell book before." She says as she cracks it open. "You will find many resourceful things here and you are welcome to come here anytime." I say with a smile as I sit down in a chair grabbing a book and opening it.

The familiar scent of aged paper and ink filled my lungs—a welcome home of sorts. Without a specific volume in mind, I figured it would be best to just browse through until I saw something that sounded like it would help. Trailing my fingers along the spines as I looked, the familiar leather a comfort, I stopped on a book titled "A Kingdom from Ash: The Ashbourne Reign." I slid it off the shelf, cradling its weight in my arms as I continued my search. By the time I’d looked over all the shelves, I added three more books to my pile—"A Compendium of Bonding," "The Moon Goddess’s Blessed," and "Vampires: Blood and Legend."

She ran her fingers along the spines, the gold lettering cool against her skin. Drawn in by the sheer volume, she hesitantly pulled a book from the shelf, a slim volume bound in dark blue leather. The title was etched in silver: The Royal Grimoire of Sacred Oaths. She opened it, her eyes skimming the ornate calligraphy, the intricate diagrams filled with arcane symbols.

Leyla before we both moved toward the wooden study tables. Pelin placed the book down with a thud, it was heavy. A faint scent of old parchment wafting into the air. “What is it?” I asked, leaning in closer as she flipped open the heavy cover. “It’s called Beçin Chronicles: A History of the Byzantine Castle and Its Mythical Beings,” she said, her voice hushed, as if someone might sneak up on us, hiding behind the shelves of the library, eavesdropping uninvited.

After that he stood and left me in the room. Now barely an hour later he sends me a trunk full of books. Ella moved to stand behind me and I could hear her sharp intake of breath when her eyes landed on the books. "They're beautiful, right?" Ella only nodded her head and leaned down to touch the spines of one of the books. They weren't really books to be precise, well they were books but not really big ones, almost like journals, just bigger and fresher. The covers were embossed in a beautiful flower pattern, each color having a flower of its corresponding color on it.

Soon after, Queen Suna's personal maids came into her room, bathed her gently and respectfully dressed her up in her night rope. Making sure she was alone, Suna walked towards the bookshelf by the side of her room. With eyes glued on books neatly arranged, her eyes fell on a book with a brown leather cover. Carefully she held the spell book and her eyes glittered in satisfaction. She walked towards her mirror, looked at her reflection and back to the book. With long pointed and piercing nails, she flipped through the pages of the book and her eyes rested on a page filled with spell words.
