Second Chance Luna

Second Chance Luna

I’ll give them a call in the morning to see if they are available Saturday. I have a hard time sleeping, so I curl up in bed with a book. I’m usually reading at least 3 different books at the same time. I keep one in my car, one in my bedroom, and a couple others around the house. This way I don’t have to carry books everywhere, but I always have something readily available.

This story is a fun and refreshing take on the werewolf genre. The writing and the character development are on point! Anja is a very talented writer and I can’t wait to devour whatever she writes next.
Jules Robbins
As the author states, the beginning is slow (nothing wrong with that!), but things build. I found the book to be an enjoyable and fairly quick read. It flows nicely into the second book without leaving you hanging. ... ... ... ...

When Arrows Fly

When Arrows Fly

I gently touch a flower before entering the room. It was very simple–the window, where I said hello to him, was closed as expected. His bed that is facing the entry, appears comfortable and inviting; the wool brown blanket on top contrasted the black bed sheets and pillowcases. A couple of books sat at the bench which is situated at the foot of the bed, there are maps and globes everywhere, too.

Deceived Souls of the Past

Deceived Souls of the Past

It helps that it is almost on the top floor. On the other side of the bay of the window was a table with four chairs, but since I have no friends, I didn't see the value in them. So, I gave them to the landlady, 'cause she needed another set. I bought and then installed another bookshelf there with a cute small couch, I found in a garage sale. Beside the couch is my bedroom. Who am I kidding? It's not a bedroom, just a little secluded area for my bed. I would hear someone let the water flow from the bathroom or the kitchen if I have someone since the bathroom is beside my bed and the kitchen is in front of my bed.

Puck Love Reunited - Book 2 in the Minnesota Ice Series

Puck Love Reunited - Book 2 in the Minnesota Ice Series

It was a bargain. I’m setting up an area in the lounge space by one of the arched windows as my reading nook. Dad has bought me a large fluffy, pale pink bean bag for the corner and Atlas has given me vouchers for Button’s shops on the hight street where I have my eye on a beautiful mahogany, square table. There’s a matching bookcase I want to get for all my books. Only, I do have a lot of books so I may need to put a bookcase or some shelving up in the bedroom too.

Love Strategy: Husband's Allure

Love Strategy: Husband's Allure

She rarely had time to read books, and occasionally took a look, which was also related to fashion design. "I like it." Thera said in a deep voice, "My legs and feet are not good. I don't have any friends. These books are the only things that can accompany me." Although he hid it very well, Stacy still found the disappointment and melancholy in his tone. "Is there no one who doesn't care about whether he can't walk or not?" Stacy's eyes fell on the bookshelf behind the desk. The bookshelf was made of rosewood, which was as high and wide as the wall and covered with front walls. There were rows of books on it, many of which Stacy had never heard of.

Deceiving the Mafia Lord

Deceiving the Mafia Lord

I chuckled. Carter smirked and got the backpack from my shoulder and put it on the top of the drawer beside his bed. "You don't often sleep, right? So what is the use of the bed?" "A bedroom's main feature is the bed. It shouldn't be present," he answered. I walked towards the glass wall to watch the outside closer. The glass is so clear that it feels like I am standing outside. I noticed the chair close to it. "This is the spot where you like to read books?" I asked.

HER LYCAN STEPBROTHER’S OBSESSION

HER LYCAN STEPBROTHER’S OBSESSION

138 Ivy's POV “Pillows, really?” Brandon’s voice cut through the silence of the room, laced with the kind of amused disbelief that made my spine stiffen instantly. He stood at the foot of the bed, arms folded, one eyebrow raised as he stared down at the long, solid wall of pillows I’d lined straight down the middle of the mattress. I didn’t even flinch. I just sank deeper into my side of the bed and reached lazily for the book on the nightstand.

TO DENY A LUNA

TO DENY A LUNA

Big and bold. Kael scoots over, creating a small sliver of space for me, and I fold myself awkwardly onto his tiny bed. My body contorts, cramped into angles that feel more like origami than comfort. I open the book, and of course—it is about space, just like the rest of his room, where planets dangle from the ceiling and stars scatter across the wallpaper. At least it’s educational, though that’s little comfort. A groan slips out before I can stop it. Which fool bought this monstrosity? Then realization crashes down like a cruel punch. It was me. I cursed myself with this. Never again will I encourage bedtime reading.

I put the left-over towels in the closet and leaned out to take a peek into the room. Zac lay in his bed, wearing only grey sweatpants low on his hips, his chest bare. My heart skipped a beat as my eyes ranked over him. He had black beats covering his ears a soft hum came from music playing, his eyes down casted to something in his hand. He was reading a book. He held the book with the back half curled to show only one page, his other hand rested behind his head. The faint light I saw was a bedside lamp and it painted a very nice glow against his caramel skin.

Captive Of The Count

Captive Of The Count

He stood up from the ground, reached out his hands, and yanked me off the floor. Fluid motions and quick strides later, I was already on the bed before I could hold down my protest, "Will you read a novel for me before we go to bed?" "No, I can't." He was hunched on the floor while I laid on my back and with his pose, I had a feeling that he wasn't going to sleep in the room tonight. "Why?"

Love this book! Will their be a book 3 in this series? I sure hope to find out how things will continue to work out for all the characters (I don’t want to give details so not to spoil things for new readers)

This book is a sequel to “The Alpha King’s Rejected Mate” and should be read after the first book. Plot was very interesting and the enemies to lovers vibe was super intense! The book could use proofreading, but overall a great story with a HEA! :)
