Book That Read To Me Novels & Stories

"He can come back." *** After breakfast, Ava drags me to her room for story time. She hands me the dragon book, settles against my side like she's done this a hundred times before. The weight of her small body against mine does something unexpected. Makes this feel real in ways board meetings and coffee deliveries never could. I read with character voices. Deep dragon voice. High princess voice. She giggles at all the right parts, corrects my pronunciation of one word, and asks me to read it again when I finish.

I ask him. “Well, I have not read the Twisted series, I heard it was really good book to read, that was why I recommended it to you. I can read the books with you, is that cool?” he asks me. I smile, happy that I will have someone to discuss the books with as I finish them, which is every reader’s dream.

Each passing day my faith and belief in God grew more assertive. The quiet had suddenly been replaced by my sister Vega, saying, "good morning Lyra. I brought one of your favorite books, and I'm going to read it to you this morning," Vega said. My essence left my body, and I hovered over Vega as she read to me—one of my favorite books, Irresistible Love by Layla Hagen. I have been trying to get her to read this book series forever. It took me being bedridden for her to break down and read it. I love Vega so much, and I don't know where I would be without her.

I walk towards my mini-library I have in my room and I bring out a book, it's been a while since I got lost in one of these fantasies. I take one out, I use my hand to trace the Braille, this was my favourite book. The Princess Diaries, I remember always reading this, I made my father read it to me when I was little as well, I remember Pretty Little Liars, I overheard someone talking about it, and when I joined in their convo, they were talking about the movie, I only read the book, funny how most people don't know that most of these movies and series were based on books, and yes these books are re written in Braille so blind people like myself can also read it.

he growls. “I’m going to read a book for you, and you have no other choice than to listen.” A frustrated sound leaves his lips. “What have I done to deserve this...” “The book ended with a dramatic cliffhanger,” I respond in a bright tone. “I’m sure you’ll love it.” He groans, and I open the book. I won’t give up on him. And, since he can’t escape, I’m going to be reading for him every single day. Maybe this will help him heal?

00 at night, I still have an hour to read this book. “I'm sorry, madam, it's only 09.00 at night, isn't bedtime every 10.00 at night? If I still have an hour and I can't sleep well, that's why I come here to just read a book to relieve boredom. Once again I'm sorry, if I have indeed violated a rule, please don't punish me with severe punishment."

he asked, handing the book over to me. "No I can't read Alpha" I replied calmly but quickly. "Would you want to know the content?" He asked calmly I nodded and he pulled me close to himself so I could sit on his legs. He started to read the book, his breaths were sharp on my neck, and they were sending shivers down my spine. I faced him, so I could look into his eyes, his voice was intoxicating, I needed to see who possessed such an angelic alluring voice.

He should be with her, comforting her and not here. “Hey, Brianna,” he said with a soft laugh. “Learning to read is really important in life. It opens up a whole world of joy hidden in words, sentences…In books, stories. I made a promise to teach you and I’m keeping to that. So whether you’re interested or not, I’m going to read. If you don’t want to listen, you can go ahead and cover your ears. I’m going to start now.” He settled back in his chair, getting ready to read.

I opened the pages of her favorite storybook, my voice filled with tenderness as I began to read. As I turned each page, I could feel Estella's eyes fixated on the colorful illustrations, her troubled thoughts momentarily forgotten. The characters came to life, and their adventures whisked us away to a world where joy and innocence prevailed. The words flowed from my lips, laced with love and an unspoken promise to protect her from harm.

She uttered before shoving the other copy into her bag. “Lights that don’t flicker.” I read out the title of the book, groaning inside of me, considering that I’ve never been a fan of novels. I only read business contracts, manifestos, and newspapers when I’m bored, but most times it’s business contracts and documents belonging to a property I was buying. “This is a good read, trust me on this. You wouldn’t regret making this video.” “I hope so,” I replied and made the video, encouraging everyone to read her book.
