I have always been interested in Greek Mythology but I don’t know much about them except of course the famous 12 olympians and my favorite was Athena of course, who wouldn’t? I have watched Percy Jackson, Troy, and Hercules. They really are awesome. Ack. It’s quite heavy, jeez. I picked it up and went to a table near the shelf. I started to read from the start and find it quite interesting. There are stories about the major gods and goddesses, and some stories about mortals. Most of them were love stories though.

Back in LA, in times like this, where I had nothing to do and was seemingly distracted, I would lie in bed, reread one of the books on my shelf, and reread it the next day until I could almost memorize the entire thing. I'm an avid fan of reading. I loved J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series, James Patterson's Maximum Ride Series and his other books like Suzanne's letter to Nicholas, Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series, The Kane Chronicles, Heroes of Olympus, the House of Night series, Blue Bloods and many others I can't name now. Permit me to say this but I don't think I will regret staying here…. The book clearly covered my face as I tried to find my way through an empty desk. Florida could only laugh at my silly attitude. She just won't understand so I laughed along with her. Dropping down the books, I heaved in relief. "Fifty Shades Of Grey," I read out, caressing the book cover. I'm definitely reading all these. "Shannara Chronicles," “Game of thrones,” "Beautiful Disaster," "wow…..this is really amazing," I exclaimed, reading the title of each book I grabbed.

The books are just like I remember them, better than the movies. I read the book To All the Boys I've Loved Before and the books after that. Watched the movie after. To my surprise I really liked them. I decided to look more at the Author of those books and see what other things she wrote. I ended up reading The Summer I Turned Pretty and the books after that. Marke reaction, surprisingly good. I started reading Burn for Burn now. It's really good even though I've only read like three chapters and haven't really gotten to the good part. By the time Momma passed I was married with a little one on the way, so my chance for college had passed, too. But I never stopped reading. Got me a nice little library out back, filled with all sorts of books crammed on bookshelves made by my own two hands. Books like Tom Sawyer, Edgar Allen Poe stories, Huck Finn and The King in Yellow, (that last one I don’t read much cause it always gives me strange dreams), some old mysteries, a clutch of Lovecraft’s books (they hurt my head, too, so I don’t read them much neither), my Hardy Boys books from growing up, and a whole bunch of newer ones by Stephen King and Dean Koontz. The bookshelf was just as tall as Andrew so he could easily access the books there. The bookshelf had all sorts of books, ranging from fictional novels to nonfictional novels, to educational novels and textbooks. Her eyes caught titles like; The Redwall series by Brian Jacques, Caddie Woodlawn by Carol Ryrie Brink, The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros and a lot more. Even the Encyclopedia was in his bookshelf. And there was also some novels on the basis of business and finance.
