The man, feeling his anger justified by the arrival of a seemingly responsible figure, immediately explained, "Sir, I'm just trying to get home, and this young lady here bumped into me. She's been drinking and hurling insults at me for no reason." Nysaa, who had turned to face the intruder, was too intoxicated to immediately recognize the man as Mace. She raised a finger and slurred, "Oh great, another knight in shining armor." Then her eyes widened as the man's features became clearer.
