I hadn’t seen her in almost a year! My phone chimed. Opening it, it was a text from Anna: ‘Hey, girlfriend. The semester got busy and I didn't have time to bother you, but here’s your reminder that Brian is still mine and you better get off his back or you won’t be able to see the next semester (smiley emoji)’.

A faint blinking light pulsed at the base of the bracelet. A hidden communicator. Her hand shook as she tapped it. The device flared once, then displayed a single line of text: “You were warned. You have one day.”

She grabbed it to see it wasn't a call, but a reminder ringtone. “ A reminder? To what?” She swiped up. The tone stopped playing, and her eyes fell on the reminder messages. (Reminder 1- Visiting grandfather at the hospital at 1:00pm ) (Reminder 2- Introducing Mason to the Archeon circle at 6:00 pm)

Minus Waking up next to Cricket this morning was at the top of my list of life’s great moments. Unfortunately, the feeling was short lived as a sense of dread crept over me. We hadn’t exactly finished our conversation last night. Far from it. I still had one key detail to fill her in on, and I knew she wasn’t going to be happy about it.

Today's date in my phone's calendar was marked with a huge red dot on it. The notification rang very loudly that it shocked me a little. Aleena, my personal assistant, might have set it from a while ago, that was why I had not remembered it. The notification was bright and big, written on it was a schedule of another meeting with those newbie businessmen bunch; I was included in that bunch as well. .

"KeyNotes is an application which is very useful for taking notes. You can type, voice record, and even take a picture of something you wanted to be reminded of." She pointed at the second app on the screen. "This application is called Reeltime. It's a video chat app. We mostly use this when there's something urgent we need to tell other PDAs. There's a voice chat available but we really suggest for you to use the video chat since it's much more secure. We get to know who we are really talking to before disclosing any confidential information."
