~ Brianne’s Raye POV I felt a very soft feeling on my body, I could hear the gentle sound of waves. I frown as I tried to find where the direction is it coming from, I slowly tried to open her eyes. But I felt like her eyelid are too heavy to be able to stay open. A very bright light blinded me making me groan as it made me close my eyes shut again, I force myself to open my eyes and look on the other way of the light. I slowly tried to familiarize myself and think about where am I, the place felt comfortable and familiar.

He was helpless again, as he had always been since the day he was born. "Nothing has changed!" the boy said while he was sobbing. "Wake up! Wake up, boy!" The moment Sirius was about to surrender himself to the nightmare, a raspy voice became his recourse, helping him escape and open his teary eyes. Unfortunately, the unfamiliar ceiling that welcomed him didn't allow him to calm down yet. The boy jerked up from the straw bed in which he was reclined and started to look around worried. Not far from the bed is a light switch, so I take a few steady steps toward it and flick it on. The the light is so bright, I'm blinded for a couple moments, but when I can actually bare the light, I notice a door a few feet away. I hurry over to it with my hand supporting the small baby bump I have and jiggle the knob desperately. Locked, of course.

His hair is dark and low. "Dear Shadow walkers," he says loudly. I stand frozen in the spot taking deep breaths as the place gets crowded with the dwellers coming of out their houses. My heartbeat has gotten faster as they stare at me. I look to the ground, trying to calm myself. "This is Alice," Gabriel announces, pointing at me. "Alice Lintle." A few persons gasp in shock while other whisper to one another. "Let's welcome her as one of hers," he adds staring at me. His blue eyes are piercing. "Come," he whispers, stretching his hand to take mine. I look around as I let him take my hand. His grip is gentle as he holds my wrist. "To greatness," he yells, raising my arm high. He always woke up early. I had to tell James today because we couldn’t keep hiding it any longer. With trembling and restless hands, I searched for my messaging app, found my brother’s number, and sent him a message: "Bright and I need to talk to you. It’s important. Come to my room in twenty minutes. Just you." Bright stirred slightly when he felt me pull away, but didn’t open his eyes until he felt my hand caressing his arm. He frowned at the sunlight entering through the window, blinked a couple of times, and looked at me with that mix of tenderness and confusion that only he could express.

Monet Palmer watched the pale yellow and red lights cut through the darkened horizon, wondering if the new day would magically heal all of the troubles she was having.
