A young woman stands at the doorway, dark hair, bright eyes that shine with mischief, and she laughs softly like she already knows what she has seen. “So,” she says, voice warm and teasing. “I’ve been far too busy to meet Regal’s wife, but here you are.” Kol’s face is stone again and I gulp slowly. “I’m Natasha,” she says with a smile. “Kol and Regal’s sister. But unlike them, I bleed too easily and bruise too quickly.” I frown, then she nods. “I'm human.” How's that even possible? She laughs at her own words. Meanwhile, Talia, who had been hiding in a corner, watched all of this in silence. It was when the three were far away that she dared to approach the ward. Natasha, who was always arrogant, now looked very weak and thin. She had not eaten for days and simply relied on the IV nutrient infusion to survive. The bruise on her face had not completely faded. When the nurse lifted her sleeve up for injection, the huge patch of scars on her arms was revealed. Looking at the horrifying scars, one could imagine how severe the incident was. Regardless, Talia did not think the same. She gazed at Natasha fiercely with her poisonous eyes as if they could penetrate her body and form two holes in it!
