I chuckled weakly. "But why can't we stand out in the hallways? I still don't understand." She put a finger to my lips and leant in so close that I could feel her warm breath on my face. "My father, King Paios, would never approve," She murmured sadly, lowering the volume of her voice. "He claims that I spend too much time around girls. Evelyn's POV "I, Alpha Kyle Turner, reject you, Evelyn Sanders, as my mate." Alpha Kyle hoarse voice boomed in my ears making me freeze on my tracks, his voice laced with disgust. Crack! A cracking sound resounded inside my body and I felt as if a part of me was forcefully torn and taken away. My wolf howled in pain but there was nothing I could do about it. Tears flowed down my face as the pain became immeasurable, increasing with each second to the point I was unable to tolerate it. I could care less about the gazes on me. I was already used to it.

I sat down with sets of glaring eyes staring at me especially that of my father and brother. He passes him to Lucian, who rocks him gently then passes him to Liam. “He definitely looks like the Alpha. He's strong too.” Liam said, placing a kiss on his temple.
