The Billionaire's Regret
I looked around the living room, now being invaded by a blanket, sticky notes, Bunny Law, one yellow cardigan, and a criminally small amount of glitter.
“And your idea of personality is letting a four-year-old open a law firm on your rug?”
“For tonight.”
“And tomorrow?”
“Tomorrow she might open another branch.”
I laughed before I could stop myself.
Sebastian looked at me.
I immediately took a drink of water, as though I could drown the sound.
“Look! This is the Bunny Law logo!”
Near the rug, Poppy held up a sheet of paper covered in glitter.
Glitter clung to her cheek. One speck sat directly on the tip of her nose. Her bangs had fallen over her eyebrow again.
