I chuckled and kissed his red cheeks. My brother stroked my hair briefly with a smile before he called Macan, who was currently looking after the bunny hatchling. Macan lifted the barrier, revealing a happily sleeping small bunny on a table constructed by Dillon, complete with a hairy pelt surface as a cushion. He looked sad while looking at the bunny hatchling and said, "He seemed to be attacked by the ferocious Sirens while he was wandering with his mother around the area. His mother might have been a victim of those monsters."

Had I not turned partially when I perceived the scent of our mate, we wouldn't have known that the 'human' friend our Bunny had was a half-witch, half-werewolf, though her werewolf gene was dormant. The moment we got to the place we found our Bunny, we exited the car. Out here, we could do anything we wanted without getting spotted by the curious humans who don't mind their business. I bet one of them would come running with a camera should they catch a whisper of what we truly were.

"We discussed this the last time you were here." Bunny laughed. "Clara, you so crazy!" She then extended a hand over to Shamira. "Hi, I'm Bunny!" "I guessed," the muscular woman replied, shaking Bunny's hand. "Damn, you're strong! I wish I had arms like yours. You're really hot. Hey, are you going to be a . . . wait," she said, "you ARE a vamp right? I mean you've got the collar on so you're a member of the house though that could mean that you're a magic user or maybe a were or something equally cool but I'm betting you're a vampire and Oh I'm so damn jealous 'cause you're already undead but I'm not yet though Shane promised --"

Thinking about what the hell I was, the woman spoke again—her voice charming, like a hunter luring prey. I was no longer wolfless. That was true, but what the hell was I? Where was Alek? Ryan? The worry started to rise as I didn’t see them. Had they really abandoned me? This woman stared at me as if she’d found salvation itself. She reached down, her eyes greedy, and before she could lift me by my tiny body, I bounced—surprising myself with the action. Reaching a vanity, I finally got the chance to look at myself: a bunny. I was a small, cute little bunny, the same rabbit I had dreamed of before. Now, if only I could scratch her eyes out for not letting me be with Alek and Ryan.

My stomach twisted slightly.

His reaction was blank, almost filled with disappointment, like he never wanted that outcome. Nevertheless, our wedding ceremony was grand, and I received the Alpha's blessings. Everyone celebrated, and my Dad, who saw me as his pride, was no exception. With my battle formations, the neighboring packs fell into Daxter's control, and he was crowned the next Alpha after his father. Unfortunately, after two years into my marriage with Daxter, everything slowly began to change. I initially knew Daxter didn't marry me because he loved me a lot as his chosen mate, but that did not change the fact that he grew indifferent to me the more time I spent as his wife and Luna.

Rolling my eyes, I walk in, and the woman glances at me. "Name?" She asks. "Bunny Wild," I reply and she sighs. "You're here to see Mr Holloway, yes?" she asks, and I nod because I don't know who the hell I am here to see. "Good, now your name, please?" she asks. "I said, Bunny Wild," is she deaf? "Your real name, I need your real name," she insists. "That's not happening," I reply. I don't give out my real name on jobs.

Simon stretched out his naked body and assumed a human form beneath the rounded red moon. Why would a human be selected to be the alpha's mate? He pondered. Why would the moon goddess be so cruel to him when she knew how he had hated humans for years? Lunas cannot be humans. It didn't make sense at all to Simon. He was the next in line following the passing of his parents. He rose to the position of pack leader, and now his Luna would be a human? A human would be his partner?

I was grateful for that. Then there was Mrs. Grace, the old lady I mowed lawn for. She was another kind being. She was a werewolf, but her mate was a human. So, her son was born half human, half werewolf. Like he couldn't shift but has the wolf within, which gave him supernatural strength. Rue's heart was as delicate as a flower petal. He's even more shy than me, yet has a sassy side. A year younger than I. He was barely ever home, being involved in several clubs and activities, but whenever he was, we had good chats and drinks.
