Unlike economy or business class, each separate cabin was like an enclosed room the size of a single bed equipped with full facilities related to flat television entertainment, internet, and even a menu of food typical of a five-star inn. “Thanks Costin.” I opened the door and found it empty. I was the first to arrive, I looked around the cabin and chose the bed that stood apart from the other two by the window. There was a small bathroom attached at the back with a shower, basin and toilet. I inserted my identification card into the slot above the bed and my name appeared above the slot. I pushed the duffel bag underneath the bed and headed out of the cabin to familiarize myself with the camp. “Grey!” I heard a voice calling and I turned around to scan the crowds. It was admission day and hundreds of people were milling about, finding their feet.

It has one bedroom, a kitchen, a small bathroom, and a small den. It is more than I need now that I am alone. I go into the bathroom and quickly shower. I wrap myself in a towel and head straight to the bedroom. It is hard to not think of Alaska. I should not think of her anymore. After all, she belongs to Alpha Kai now.
