William stayed out all night. And I didn't sleep all night. I was not worried about where he was going. Of course, he was at the woman's, with her and their child. I got off work in the evening and saw William standing in front of my company. "Don't be mad." When he saw me, William immediately came to me. "We're going back to Mom and Dad's for dinner today. Be nice to them, okay?" I frowned, should I tell them?

He could feel the way she was talking to him confidently like it was totally the opposite of the first day they had met. "Sure, I'll see you soon," Gabriella Jones said and cut off the call. Immediately she cut off the call, Gabriella sat on the office chair listlessly as she tried to catch her breath. She couldn't believe that she had talked so confidently to Seth Williams. Will she find the same courage to do it when she goes to see him at his office later in the day? She had no idea how she was going to face him. On his way to the conference hall his phone rang, and he glanced at the caller ID, it was William. Merrick answered the call, his tone polite yet curious. "William, are you already at the conference hall?" he inquired. To Merrick's surprise, William's voice sounded weak and strained. "No, Merrick, I'm afraid I'm not feeling well. I won't be able to make it to the conference hall. Could you please come to my company for the meeting?" William requested, his voice weak. The caller’s ID was unknown, and Willam frowned as he stared at the call. He had a habit of not picking calls from unknown contacts, to avoid getting close proximity with scammers and internet trolls. But the caller was relentless. Whoever was on the other side of the phone called over and over and over, until irritation bubbled out of William’s chest and he picked the call. “Hi, is this William Grant?” a feminine voice asked. She sounded professional, and the sounds of a slightly familiar background noise flitted into his ears. “Yes, I am. Who are you and how can I help you?” he asked, trying to shake away the gloomy feeling that was suddenly hanging over his head.
