If he calls again, just reject his call! Such insolence!” The assistant froze in place, stuck in a dilemma. He was just about to speak when a low male voice sounded from the other end of the phone, carrying hints of questioning and a sneer. “William Little, are you so bold now that you refuse to answer my call? Do you think you’re good enough to fly solo now?”

Reluctantly, William took out his cell phone, not realizing who was calling. "Who is calling?" William muttered before accepting the phone call. "Hello-" William suddenly had an idea when he heard the woman's voice. He immediately cut off the woman on the other end of the phone. "Will you be my wife?"

William wonders aloud. “I don’t know yet,” James admits. “But I can dig deeper if you want.” William shakes his head. “No, let’s not invade her privacy. I’ll go see her myself.” James hesitates. “Are you sure that’s wise, sir? After everything...” “I need to do this,” William says firmly. “I deserve answers from her.” That afternoon, William sets out for the small town, accompanied only by James. The drive was quiet, the hum of the engine the only sound. As they neared their destination, William’s heart raced with a mix of anticipation and apprehension.

I couldn’t wait to talk to him and remove that look from his handsome face. My cell vibrated and my heart leaped. Maybe it was Victor calling me back. I couldn’t wait to tell him I wanted to go to the prom with him and beg him to forgive me. But my caller ID told me it was William instead. “Oh, not now,” I mumbled. I didn’t want to talk to him while I was waiting to talk to Victor, but it would be rude to not answer. “Hi, William,” I said after accepting the call. “Daisy, I need to speak to you right away,” William said. His tone told me he thought it was urgent.

William said. “So you want to be on his side this time? go ahead, you know what my game is like, and don't forget how much money you took from me for your damn gambling, you need to pay it back before you die, and I will make sure with my own eyes that you won't die easily," Billy said, he put down his coffee and left. As soon as Billy walked through the door, William immediately called someone on his phone. "Hello? Pick me up now, he's gone," William said to someone on the other line before hanging up.

Nathaniel wanted to respond but was interrupted by William's phone ringtone. " Hello" William picked the call. " Yes this is Mr William." he answered. He eyed Nathan one more time before walking away. " You know Mr shipman right?" the person on the other end of the phone asked. " Yes he's my father." he said. " Well this is the hospital...." the person started before William hangs up and runs out of the court building. " Taxi!" he called and got in rushing to the hospital. This can't be happening. He thought.

I guessed that he was calling to urge me to apologize to Doris in the group chat again. I did not want to answer the call, but the phone rang over and over, as Luke called me over seven times. I was still in the pack cleaning up work, so he called the phone there and the phone was brought to me. "Alpha Luke’s on the line. Seems urgent," the guard said, handing me the phone. I took in a deep breath and reluctantly answered the call. "What is it?" I asked coldly. The moment I picked up the call, Luke's angry voice scolded me over the phone. Someone would have thought I was a servant taking orders.
