Carmen pulled on the t-shirt with the cruise line logo and the ship’s name—one of the articles everyone on the cruise had received in their welcome packages. Beside her, Molly did the same, wearing an identical t-shirt that Jasper managed to get from his room. She tied her hair up and secured it with a cap on her head. Once Carmen and Molly looked somewhat alike—not exactly the same, but close enough to confuse anyone who might be looking—they both turned to Ronin and Jasper, who were waiting at the door.

The blade gleamed, sharpened to a fine edge. "You really think I'd fall for the same trap twice?" Before he could react, I slashed the blade across my own arm. Blood welled up instantly, and I smeared it over my clothes and skin. Right on cue, the door burst open. "Mr. Morland, please don't hurt Carmen! She's just... lonely, that's why she's meeting a man in a place like this—" Hazel's plea died in her throat as she saw me, standing there, and covered in blood.

"But you don't have to be so desperate for him or any guy in particular." Before I finished my statement, Carmen was already in the room picking out her outfit. I bit my lip and remained silent, unsure of everything. "How do I look?" she said minutes later, dressed in shorts, a crop top, and a cardigan. "Should not you be in mourning?" I said while helping her put on dangling earrings to match her outfit. "Even my mom will be happy that I found a man. Now come on, get dressed, and let's go." I made do with a simpler outfit: espadrilles, a straw hat, and a floral sundress. Harrison burst through the door just as we were ready to go.

Carmen stood in a large crowd of people who were waiting to get inside the command center to attend her funeral. She had been waiting in line for over an hour and was getting highly impatient. She had gone to extreme measures to conceal her true identity. She wore leather pants, a white blouse and a leather jacket with a hood attached. She wasn't sure who she was hiding from being she still had no idea what her husband and daughter looked like. Carmen figured that her daughter probably looked like her so it wouldn't be too hard to spot her. Her husband on the other hand, it would probably be more difficult to spot him.

Silver said as he took the first step towards the commotion. I followed after him and as we expected, we did see a familiar face. Carmen. I let out a stuffed laugh, it also seemed that anytime I met Carmen, she always had a problem. It was as if she was just a magnet that attracted different kinds of trouble. I wanted to step in but Sarah already did. Wait. Did Sarah just change her outfit? The first time I met her she was in a purple dress that looked so similar to Carmen's. “Ohhh, inferiority complex.” Silver snickered, as he pointed at Sarah.

Carmen asked from behind me and I turned to look at her. Carmen's dress was as short as Raya's. It was orange just like the theme required, one long sleeve puffy at the bottom while her other arm was sleeveless. The neck of the dress was wrapped with her left bust, while the other bust had tiny silver stones that escaped to the side of the dress. It was a beautiful dress but a bit more revealing than the others and I noticed Lana's distaste but she kept it to herself allowing Carmen feel proud in her own sense.

She explained, spreading her two palms on the table. "Fine." It was useless to argue with Carmen, it would just be a lost cause. She told me to dress in black so we won't be recognized by the patrol guards, they oud probably take us for warriors going to destroy a pack. Despite hee assurance I felt scared to my wits but I suppressed it with fake confidence. I have given enough hold to weakness in my life, maybe this is the time to step up. We got out of my room and walked out without saying a word, I stuck closely to Carmen.

It just manages to calm my nerves down, making my worries go away, at least for now. I grin. "C'mon munchkins, let's get you both ready. Nanna Anne's coming along," ******** It was exactly 3PM. And we're set to leave for the ice cream parlor. Jasmine is dressed in a black leggings with a polkadot pattern, and a pink top, paired with black ballet flats, her hair neatly tied up in pigtails with a pink ribbon. Javier is on a white graphic T-shirt that is embroidered on it's chest a SpongeBob SquarePants, one of his favorite cartoons, the T-shirt is paired with a beige shorts and a white sneakers, just perfect for the day.
