Night Wolves

"Yes, they did, as a matter of fact." "I'll tell you in a minute," Kellen said. Lance's eyes flared for a split second. "Tell me now." "Come to find out," Kellen said, his voice low. "Rory and Casen were Rogue Wolves. They both ran when they saw Xander and Elias and they gave chase." "And did our men follow?" Lance asked, his voice low. "Yes, they did," Kellen replied. Lance nodded once. "Good. When they are caught, notify me immediately."

Crescent Pack Chronicles: The Lost Triplets

Crescent Pack Chronicles: The Lost Triplets

" I followed her out of the cell and into the hallway. By the time we stepped into the hallway, it was already packed with vampires in their familiar red cloaks. I freaked, the familiarity of the scene causing nausea in the pit of my stomach. They were more than I could count. With their red cloaks and black garments, they approached us, their sharp canines and claws on full display. I looked to Aurora for the same panicked expression, but her face was relaxed. Too relaxed. And a smirk slipped across her lips. "By the way, did I ever tell you that I was an Alpha in my pack before I got kicked out?"

Iron Serpent Chronicles

Iron Serpent Chronicles

He was flipping through the pages of his notes. "That's just it. If the Warrior and Bearer are supposed to get their bloody groove on as part of the ‘End Times,' then we've either missed the other prophecies or something big has happened to ruin the chain of events. If this Asta person was trying to harness the magic of Earth by either stealing or pulling Earth's magic here, then she's screwed everything up. None of the timelines, guides, or prophesies matter now. That's how she screwed us over: We're on our fucking own against who knows what."

Fang Chronicles

Fang Chronicles

He went out to see who was in Amy's rescue caravan. He recognized different wolves from both Cheri and Marcus's clans. Cheri, the vampire leader of the northwest clan, had Brandt and Emily as her alpha wolves. Marcus and Amy led the Southwest Clan with Columbus as alpha, but neither Cheri nor Marcus was with them. Nicolas knew it was safer to keep one vampire with each group of wolves, if possible.

Chronicles of Alpha Lord Lugard

Chronicles of Alpha Lord Lugard

her voice commands me once more. I close my eyes, concentrating on my own thoughts. It’s filled with darkness and despair, blood-curdling screams renting the air. Years ago, Alpha Clinmim had infiltrated my pack and slaughtered everyone including the King and the Luna, taking me captive. I’d spent day and night in a dark room, my wrist and legs bound in chains, the air stuffy from dust and motes, making me give a dry rasp. I’d been starved, surviving only on the leftovers from the servants. I can remember the searing pain from the rods red-hot from the furnace and my eyelid flickers briefly.

Chronicles on the Non-reality

Chronicles on the Non-reality

Maybe I’d die too. Harper and Quarinah weapons met in a flash as sparks flew and their weapons moved at crazy speeds. The blows terrified me with their power as they were often pushed back by each others power. Just as it started to look like Harper was getting the upper hand she had come down hard on her pushing her to the ground. As she raised her sword up preparing to strike with all her might Quarinah suddenly sat up stabbing Harper in the leg. The blade is poisoned she laughed. As Harper fell back suddenly two other soldiers rushed over fighting and driving the captain back.

Dream Sovereign: Chronicles of the Blood Moon

Dream Sovereign: Chronicles of the Blood Moon

“Together.” He clasped her hand. “Always.” --- As midnight fell, each team slipped away into the dark. The canyon’s east mouth swallowed Orion’s divers first; the northern ridge bore Vera and Lucien’s silhouettes; the southern catacombs guided Selene’s scholars. Nine days of betrayal, training, and blood-forged oaths converged at Skyforge Citadel’s gates. The empire slept under the Blood Moon’s red glare—unaware that its greatest traitor’s reign would end before dawn.

Winter Wolf

Loki, Caius, and Stryxx were 3 quarters away from the border between the Rogue's territory to the Old Ones. Chad had reminded them that time passes differently in the Old Lands due to a ever potent spell place by those who came before Anatashi and her motley pack of misfits. "Do you believe this mole is as loyal to Chad as he says?" Stryxx, always, the thunder cloud over everyone's heads. "I believe in Dove and his capabilities to sell just about any plan to even the smartest wolves. I guess he's really Chad's,vrother." Loki mentioned.

MARKED BY MY ALPHA'S FATHER

MARKED BY MY ALPHA'S FATHER

The chemical blue of the vanguard’s torches cast long, skeletal shadows against the wet rock face, turning the narrow mountain trail into a trap. The sleet froze as it hit the black armor of Cassian's hunters, who stood in a flawless geometric line, their execution crossbows leveled directly at Marcus's chest.

Frequently Asked Questions

Somebody finally asked! Okay, so the Caster Chronicles--that's the Beautiful Creatures series for anybody who got confused--actually shifts gears pretty dramatically from book to book, which I wasn't fully prepared for. The first one, 'Beautiful Creatures,' feels like a Southern Gothic romance mystery with this whole 'boy meets mysterious magical girl' vibe, lots of small-town secrets and Lena's whole mooning over her impending Claiming. It's very much setting up the world and the curse.

But then 'Beautiful Darkness' sends them on the run, literally into the Underground and other realms, which was a wild departure. Suddenly it's less about high school gossip and more about a road trip through supernatural landscapes. The stakes feel bigger, but also more scattered. By the time you hit 'Beautiful Chaos' and 'Beautiful Redemption,' the whole thing has pivoted into an almost mythological save-the-world-from-ancient-evil plot, with the fate of the Order hanging in the balance. It's a trip watching Ethan go from a regular guy to someone bargaining with supernatural forces. Honestly, the evolution can feel a bit uneven--like the author decided partway through that the initial premise wasn't big enough, so they kept scaling up until it was about preventing universal unraveling. The personal, claustrophobic tension of the first book kind of gets lost in all that epic grandeur, which some fans loved and others missed.
