**Alina's POV** Blood splattered across the ground as the vampire's lifeless body crumpled, his severed head slipping from my grasp. The metallic scent clung to the air, thick and suffocating. I barely had time to breathe before another lunged at me, claws slashing through the night. I sidestepped, raking my own claws across his throat. A gurgled hiss escaped him as black blood oozed down his chest.

The bells of Blackthorn Castle rang thirteen times, their solemn echoes rolling across the vast Night Empire like an ancient warning. The haunting sound drifted through mist-covered forests, over jagged mountains, and across villages where sunlight had been nothing more than a forgotten legend for centuries. Every vampire, whether noble or commoner, knew exactly what the bells announced. The Blood Eclipse had arrived, and before the night ended, their king would stand beside the queen chosen by fate itself.

“Wha' wrog?” “They found another body,” She said, “Under the bridge. Same place as the last one. They said the body had all its blood drained out.” “Just like the last ones.” I shivered. She turned to me, eyebrows raised. “Apparently there are no obvious wounds. Do you still think they’re animal attacks?” “Of course.” I rolled my eyes. “What else would they be? Vampires?” “You think I’m crazy, but that’s the only explanation that makes sense.”

I had unknowingly closed my eyes. But when I opened them, the two alphas were face to face. He was foaming at the mouth as he banged against the glass, ramming it with his whole body as it shook. Dr. Dawson smirked. He taped the glass with a mocking expression. As the specimen had nothing he could think of doing for more intimidation. He started to pace back and forth, staring Dr. Dawson down, growling at him and baring his teeth.

The door’s handle twisted, but it was locked, so it couldn’t be opened. Another knock. This time, it sounded more urgent. “Alpha Blackwood!” Shawn’s voice called from outside. “Please, you have to hear this.” Knox growled, storming toward the door. He wrenched it open, his eyes flashing red. “What is it?!” He snarled. Shawn flinched, his face was pale, and he was breathing heavily. He looked ready to bolt for his life as he stared up at Knox. “A-Alp-ha,” Shawn stammered, “Vampires are attacking.”

Even though it’s not real, at least I saw that again. A long silence prevails when we can catch our breaths until my eyes dart at my parents who are now starting to fade. The place became black even if I try to roam my eyes, hoping to find a light, but it was no use. “I finally found you,” a man said which make my eyes narrow. He slowly walk closer to me until I finally saw his face. The place became a castle and he’s now wearing white long sleeves that have different gold linings at the wrist and collar and are paired with black slacks. It was blood! “What’s happening to me!” I scream. More blood begins pouring from my eyes. Then my nose bleeds. I run the tap and splash my face with water again but more blood appears. I have made it worse. “I’m bleeding from my eyes! This isn’t normal!” I cry. Then I collapse to the floor and black out. BANG, BANG! “Killian, can you open the door!” a voice shouts from outside the door. I wake up to the voice shouting from outside the door. I climb to my feet and look in the mirror. I look like a horror show.

She tried to get her neck free from Ethan’s grip with her both hands but his grip got stronger. Alice almost choked to death. In the sky, the cloud started moving a bit faster now letting some moonlight reach the earth. As the moonlight fell on Ethan his grip got weaker and finally, Alice got herself free from Ethan and fell on the ground a few steps away from Ethan. She coughed terribly. She saw Ethan and was shocked to see his fangs. Ethan has turned into his vampire form.

There had been something perverted in this one. He turned to check if his companions needed any help, but they had matters well in hand. Bain’s mouth was locked tightly over the female vampire’s face. Dral stood next to him, ready to provide aid if necessary. A moment later, the vampire’s body collapsed to the ground. Rave turned back to his own victim and watched as the vampire’s body began to grow insubstantial and translucent. Stefan stood next to him, staring down at his enemy’s remains. The body began to hiss and crackle as it slowly dissolved into an oblong pile of black ash. The color surprised Rave—usually a vampire left behind ashes that were gray and white, not pure black like this

The black veins are back on his face, and his eyes are dark as well, looking like they’ve rotted in his skull. He twists my ankle and digs his fingernails into my skin, tearing open my flesh. The demonic dog-creature stands behind him, pulling its lips back in a snarl. Eliza pulls again, using her vampire strength, and I feel like my arm is going to rip right off my body. My arm twists, and I’m pulled from Eliza’s grip. I fall hard onto the dirty tile of the laundromat, and the man drags me across the floor.
