Choosing between Dragon and Werewolf

Choosing between Dragon and Werewolf

"I was just teasing you a bit, I didn't mean to offend you, babe." "Celtic is a nation as well as a region," Stephen suddenly spoke up to answer Veronica's question. “They existed since ancient times, and their civilization still dominates very strongly up until now from a historical point of view. Their influence is in Central Europe. You can start your research on the Celts when we get back. Of course, if the war can still be postponed…” "I don't know if it's just my feeling or not, but I feel like you sound a lot more annoying today than usual," Karl grunted indignantly.

Betrothed (Book #6 in the Vampire Journals)

She, of course, had had no idea of her name’s origin. "Of course,” he continued, a mischievous smile on his lips, “the Greeks stole it, as they do everything. The true origin of Caitlin is actually Irish. It's a Gaelic variation of the old French name, which was derived from Catherine, which in turn, was derived from the ancient Greek. So there you go—full circle. Some people would attribute it to the Greek goddess, Hecate. She, of course, is associated with magic, witchcraft, necromancy, and crossroads.

Under the Blue Moon

I realised this must be a big deal for him, talking to my mother like this. “Like the emotion wrath or,” my mother paused, seeming a bit confused. Now I understood why Rem’s friend gave him the nickname Rem. Sighing softly, Rem said, “it is Irish. My family came from Ireland way back when. So no W in the name at all. I forget what it translates to, but that’s not important.” “Ah! Then, Rath? It’s cute,” my mother mused happily. She was never one to let corrections get to her, and she was almost always cheerful. Sort of where I get my own cheerfulness from, I did not doubt.

Now that is locked ahead, it's way easier to decide to read this story or not. A strange group of younger kids appeared that doesn't seem werewolf! Now that's more like it! Mystery, tension, questions! I wonder if they are friends or enemies... and what about the hunters? Where are they...

The Alpha Expansion

The Alpha Expansion

They named her Fianna after a group of ancient Celtic female warriors, because they knew she would grow up to be a strong, fierce, and independent she-wolf one day. The ancient Celtic clan superiors, the Lycans, had visited last week to congratulate the pack on their new addition, and we tonight we rejoice, for with their visit, it seemed that fate has promised Fianna McGowen a truly bright future ahead of her. Music filled the air and people sang along and danced merrily with their loved ones. Fireflies drifted over the lake, their reflections on its mirrored surface seemingly doubling their number. Drinks were flowing late into the night; the werewolves of Redwood Valley pack spent the eve

Brigit said, before turning to discuss something with Morrigan. My mind turned inward, ‘Stella? You have brothers?’ ‘Goibniu (pronounced GUV new) and Creidhne (pronounced CRANE ya)! They are craftsmen of the Tuatha Dé Danann (pronounced TWO ah hah day DAN an). Let me take over. I will lead us to their forges.’

Normally not a witch/werewolf fan but this novel held my interest. The history research done by the author makes the characters more real. I’m really enjoying the suspense, surprise, humor and the love scenes are pretty hot and descriptive. Keep up the good work!

Very nice writing style. The author is able to portray scenes in a vivid way and bring them to life. I would suggest to keep the flow going throughout the chapter. If not possible then put the time skip in the next chapter.

Looking back down at our son, she adds, "I was thinking. What do you think about the name Cace?" Cocking my head, I smirk. "How's it spelled?" She smiles as she humors me. "C-A-C-E." "Someone's been looking up traditional Irish names, I see." "Maybe a little," she jokes, then turns serious again as she looks at our son. "It means observant and vigorous. Kind of like you with all your people-watching and doing the right thing. Things I want him to be." Gazing down at my son, I consider her idea. "Cace Flanigan. A good, strong Irish name for a good, strong Irish boy."

"A fine name indeed." "Hey what's the Gaelic word for fire?" she asked, watching a wisp of smoke unfurl from the young one's snout. "Aodh." "Is there anything you don't know?" "Maybe. Shamira grinned. "Aodh and Jörmungandr ," she said again. At least she'd finally gotten around to naming them.

He said, licked his lips and continued. “This is a lot to grasp I know but you are Luna Svyatoyvich. Do you know what Selena means?” He asked I'm beyond dazed… Is he trying to joke with me? “Yes, it means Light” I answered “The name, Selena was actually a means to make you more undetectable, giving you a Spanish name and a Greek Surname that sounds like the Nigerian Urhobo name. Selena means Moon and Jerome means Sacred name. Svyatoyvich is your Father’s surname that means Sacred name.

Charlotte prompted, and Liam answered automatically. "It's, uh...it's not short for anything. It's just Liam." "I think it's an Irish name originally," Sasha interjected. "Originally short for Ulliam, which means warrior, or defender." The conversation quickly moved onto the etymology of everyone's names, and it was only when there was a pause that Liam realized he could hear it. On the rare occasion that the entire table fell silent at once, there it was. The distinctive sounds of slurping, gagging...
