“Shouldn't you be doing your hair?” Liza interrupted her protests.
Charlette stepped down from the fitting podium, then spun, showcasing her beautiful red and gold dress, and we all gushed.
“You look magnificent,” I commented, watching the dress sway with her motion.
The dress made her look like a fairy, but because of the dripping embroidery in gold on her bodice, her entire image changed to resemble a dangerous fairy, one that was ready to start a war.
“Right? But I was going for ‘bold’,” she said, and I laughed.
