And strangely, I didn’t feel any attraction towards her. I wasn’t sure if it had faded over time since it was a stupid infatuation or if was it replaced by someone more…important? I walked out of the manor and found the ‘more important.’ Adeline stood before the birds with a bowl of grain in her hand, and she fed them. The birds seemed to be flocking around her as if she was snow white. Her lips moved as she looked at one of them. Was she talking to them? I moved closer to listen in.

Husband by Error

he muttered. “Your book fell. I put it back on the shelf. Go get it and stop bothering me,” he said, closing his eyes. Adeline’s cheeks burned with embarrassment. She fetched her book, sat on the bed, leaned back, and resumed reading. Her eyes grew heavier and heavier. She finally set the book on the bedside table, pulled up the blanket, and closed her eyes. ***

My Every Hue

My Every Hue

Everyone who tells her that they will do anything to understand Adeline is untrue. Adeline woke up the next day and noticed her sight went back to normal. It was like an immediate miracle. She decided that she should have someone to tell about her eye condition so that she could get an opinion. But who can she talk to about that? Her friend Chris wasn’t an exemption from her options, so she had the courage to go to his apartment before she went straight to work. She tried to knock on his door… but no one seemed to answer. Her thoughts went crazy, ‘Has he left already? Did he really leave without even letting me know? What happened last night was already a goodbye from him? Why?’

The Alpha King's Labyrinth

The Alpha King's Labyrinth

She races farther and farther into the forest and I begin to realize that I no longer recognize where we are. "Adeline," I call her name as she continues to race through the trees. "Where are we?" "Must find mate," Adeline grunts back in our mind. She presses her nose to the ground and lets out a long howl indicating that she has found what she has been tracking.

I love this Author. She tells a story well. it is always annoying when I'm reading a story that seems the author is retelling the same thing through each character ( their POV), but I feel it's just another way to make money🫤. Anyway, thank you for telling the story well, keeping me interested
Traci Williams
This story was a welcome twist on werewolf romance. Well written. Engaging characters. I still have questions about Alexander’s continued use of the dungeons, but I’ll let the readers figure that out. Otherwise great story!

The Matchmaker who can see the red string of fate

The Matchmaker who can see the red string of fate

My feet cripples and I collapse on the van floor. A hand pick me up and throw me at the corner. They slammed the boy to my side. He wheezed. I gasp. His head hits my rib side, sending black spots to my eyes. I’m still coughing and gasping for air when a shoe heel pressed itself in my head. Forcing me to bend. “So it wasn’t that challenging to find you.” Adeline said, exerting force to her heel, bending me lower. I catch a crack of glimpse behind her shoe. Her blood red lips curl into a smile. A calculative evil smile. And I can’t suppress the shudder running through my spine. The groundkeeper has settled himself in the passenger seat at the front.

Chasing Anna

Chasing Anna

Adrenaline rushes through my blood as we climb down from the car. The fresh air hits my face soothing my aching nerves. "Let's give our old friend a visit, guys." Brandon says and walk ahead of us. The house is small in the corner of the rench where a hundred of sheeps and dozens of cows are grazing. "There are many men and women, whom we should approach?" Roch says in confusion. "Allan is inside his house, it's his lunch time. We're lucky that he wouldn't get a chance to escape or contact his son." I say and walk past them toward the cottage.

A Night With Mr President

A Night With Mr President

I asked as I got up from the bed, walking towards the table in the room, I poured myself a cup of water as I waited for him to speak. "I found Miss Adeline." He tells me, I paused as soon as I heard that, he found Adeline? the same place Ran told me about? "Where is she?" I asked him, "I will send you an address now sir, it is an abandoned building on the east side, it is heavily guarded." He tells me. "Send me the address," I tell him and hung up the call, I looked at the time and it was already twenty minutes past 7 am.

Cherished and Chased Away

Cherished and Chased Away

After Axel left, Carl sat alone in the deathly quiet castle hall. That rough little collection of jewelry, all thrown together from scraps, had somehow become the last thing he had to cling to me. He reached out and touched the jewelry, but jerked his hand back suddenly. It was as though my love was still burning in every piece and had scorched him. The pages of the diary fluttered as the wind turned them, one by one. A vision blurred into focus in Carl's eyes. It was me, standing in the study, as I became overwhelmed with despair the moment I saw the diary.

Chase

Chase

Damn this, not another chase. I used strategies that many small animals used, such as trying to go where larger creatures couldn't. I dashed under a few small bramble bushes and continued out the other side. They had to take a detour to reach me under the bushes, so it was an advantage, given that I am slow and would pause for a second to catch my breath. As I tried to stay alive during this chase, my heart was racing faster than my feet. My steps slowed as I realized two of the wolves had sped ahead on a larger circuit and were waiting to catch up with me. I launched towards a tree and ricocheted off at a ninety-degree angle without slowing down.

Chasing His Muse

Chasing His Muse

I would get lost, and caught up in the story and found out another day had gone by, and the sky was getting darker. That day I could feel, someone was watching me from the corner, as I was reading. But I kept on reading anyway, never minding others as I liked to be left alone. Until Laura came to get me and ushered me back to my room. I passed the corner seat and saw a sketch, a beautiful sketch of a woman by the window reading a book with rays of sunshine highlighted her soft pale features. Laura saw to my direction and picked up the sketchbook.
